GOD Gives Us Strength For This Journey! The Fruit of the Spirit Explained!

June 24, 2026
GOD Gives Us Strength for This Journey 1 Kings 19:1–7 (KJV) Life's journey often brings seasons of weariness, disappointment, spiritual battles, and moments when we feel that we can go no further. In 1 Kings 19:1–7, the prophet Elijah reached a place where his own strength was exhausted. Yet GOD met him in his weakness, provided nourishment, and reminded him, "Arise and eat; because the journey is too great for thee." This message reveals a timeless truth: the journey GOD has called us to walk is too great for our own strength. Through His mercy, GOD has provided everything we need to endure, overcome, and fulfill His purpose. One of His greatest provisions is the Fruit of the Spirit described in Galatians 5:22–23. In this teaching, we examine each aspect of the Fruit of the Spirit—love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, and temperance—and discover how these spiritual attributes empower believers for daily living and spiritual warfare. Learn how love sustains us through adversity, joy strengthens us in difficult seasons, peace guards our hearts, patience helps us endure trials, and self-control enables us to remain steadfast in obedience to GOD. These are not merely character traits; they are divine resources given by the Holy Spirit to equip us for the battle and to help us complete the journey set before us. May this message encourage you to rely not upon human ability, but upon the power and authority available through the Holy Spirit in the Name of JESUS.
