# PRAYING FOR DIVINE HEALING: OUR BODIES, THE CHURCH, THE NATION - INCLUDING OUR ENEMIES **America needs healing, the Church needs restoration, and people throughout the world need the divine healing of GOD!** In this powerful time of prayer, The Church Readiness Ministries joins together to seek the face of the LORD GOD Almighty on behalf of people in the United States and around the world. We are praying for physical healing, spiritual understanding, righteous leadership, and the restoration of our families and nation according to the Word of GOD. This is more than a prayer for our personal needs. We are seeking the LORD for the things that affect the Church, our communities, our national leadership, and the future of generations to come. ## 1. PRAYING FOR DIVINE HEALING OF OUR PHYSICAL BODIES We pray for those who are sick, those who are suffering, those in hospitals, and those confined to their homes because of illness. We remember families caring for loved ones and people throughout the world who need the mercy, comfort, strength, and healing power of GOD. We ask the LORD to provide comfort to those who are suffering and strength to those who are weary, according to His will and His Word. **Scripture: James 5:14–15 (KJV)** ## 2. PRAYING FOR THE LEADERSHIP OF THE CHURCH The spiritual condition of the Church matters. Church leadership has a responsibility to understand and teach the Way of the LORD, shine the light of GOD into darkness, and prepare and empower the saints to fulfill the purpose for which they have been called. In this prayer, we seek GOD's help for church leaders to: - Understand and teach the Way of the LORD. - Shine the light of the Word of GOD into the darkness. - Equip and empower the saints to walk in the power and authority given to them through JESUS CHRIST. - Provide righteous counsel to national leadership concerning the things that GOD hates and the importance of governing according to His precepts. - Receive and communicate revelation from the Scriptures that helps people understand the spiritual lessons and warnings relevant to the destruction, violence, division, and troubles confronting America. The Church must not only speak about the problems facing our nation; it must also understand its responsibility to teach the Word of GOD, equip the saints, and provide godly counsel. ## 3. PRAYING FOR THE HEALING OF OUR NATION America is experiencing serious challenges affecting families, communities, and relationships among its people. We pray that the LORD will lead us toward repentance, righteousness, peace, and restoration. Our prayers address several urgent concerns: **The Family:** We pray for healing in marriages, restoration of families, wisdom for parents, protection for children, and stronger relationships between fathers, mothers, and their children. **Violence and the Commandment “THOU SHALT NOT KILL”:** We pray for an end to senseless killings, violence, and the destructive ways people resolve conflicts. We ask GOD to help individuals, families, communities, and leaders embrace peace, self-control, and respect for human life. **The Divide in Our Nation:** We pray for healing across racial, political, social, and cultural divisions. We ask the LORD to help people overcome hatred, bitterness, and hostility and to seek truth, justice, humility, and peace. **National Leadership:** We pray that those entrusted with authority will seek wisdom, recognize their accountability before GOD, and consider the consequences of their decisions. We ask that righteous counsel will be heard and that our nation will turn toward the precepts of the LORD. **Scriptures: Exodus 20:13; 2 Chronicles 7:14; Proverbs 14:34; James 1:19–20 (KJV)** ## 4. PRAYING FOR OUR ENEMIES AND THOSE WHO PERSECUTE THE CHURCH We close this prayer by remembering those who oppose us, those who persecute the Church, and those who speak or act against the people of GOD. Our prayer is not for their destruction. We pray that they will repent, receive salvation through JESUS CHRIST, and learn to fear GOD according to His precepts. We ask the LORD to turn hearts away from wickedness and toward truth and righteousness. JESUS CHRIST commanded His disciples to love their enemies and pray for those who persecute them.
