Shedding of Innocent Blood
A Look at the last 60 Years of the History of the United States Involvement in Various Wars

Chapter Five
Leaders Cause God’s People to Err
Most of the kings of the Kingdom of Israel and the Kingdom of Judah did not fear God and they caused God’s people to err. We must learn from their mistakes and fear God because God is faithful to all of his promises to include His blessing and His cursing. We have included an appendix to this work that reviews the history of the kings of Israel and Judah. This work is very important to understand why it is essential for us to fear God. However, in this chapter we focus on how our leaders have caused God’s people in this nation to err. Note, the basic content of this chapter was first written in 2001 in the book titled, “America! America!: A Checkup for the Body of Christ, The Church.”
Isaiah, Chapter 10, beginning with verse one states, “Woe unto them that decree unrighteous decrees, and that write grievousness which they have prescribed; (2) To turn aside the needy from judgment, and to take away the right from the poor of my people, that widows may be their prey, and they may rob the fatherless!”
Isaiah, Chapter 9, beginning with verse 16 states, “For the leaders of His people cause them to err; and they (His people) that are led of them are destroyed. (17) Therefore the Lord shall have no joy in their young men, neither shall have mercy on their fatherless and widows: for every one is an hypocrite and an evildoer, and every mouth speaketh folly. For all this His anger is not turned away, but His hand is stretched out still. (18) For the wickedness burneth as the fire: it shall devour the briers and the thorns, and shall kindle in the tickets of the forest, and they shall mount up like the lifting up of smoke.”
Isaiah 3:15 states, “What mean ye that ye beat my people to pieces, and grid the faces of the poor? Said the Lord of hosts.” Isaiah 5:20 states, “God has an answer, “Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; and put darkness for light and light for darkness, that put bitter for sweet and sweet for bitter!” Isaiah 5:21 - 23 states, “Woe unto them that are wise in their own eyes, and prudent in their own sight!” Take a moment and think about this thought. Reflect on the various laws in this country. Are they written in the best interest of God’s people or are they designed to oppress the poor and to destroy? Look at the corruption of the police around the country, the shedding of innocent blood through warfare, and corruption in the criminal justice system in the United States.
On September 11, 2001, there were about three-thousand innocent people killed in the United States of America by terrorists. Why did terror come near us? Most of these people were killed in New York City, the same city where ten years earlier we celebrated a war where we kill thousands of innocent people. Most of the people killed in Iraq in the Gulf war were innocent people. Did the United States shed innocent blood through warfare? Are there any consequences for killing innocent people? We must search ourselves and see if we are out of the counsel of God. Let us look at the last 50 years of history of the United States’ involvement in various wars. Below is a summation of some of our actions.

We must learn from lessons of the past. God’s righteousness is forever. The same standards apply today as they did 2500 years ago. America must learn, America must learn.
Isaiah 13:11 states, “And I will punish the world for their evil, and the wicked for their iniquity, and I will cause the arrogancy of the proud to cease, and will lay low the haughtiness of the terrible.” Do we have the same God today? Does God change? Answers: There is only one God, the same yesterday, today, and forever, and He changes not.
Isaiah 13:12 states, “I will make a man more precious than fine gold; even a man than the golden wedge of Ophir.” In God’s sight all men and women are precious. They are made in His image. God wants us to see each other as precious. Therefore, we must value life. How much value do we place on the lives of people who live outside of the United States? Is oil more valuable than the life of a man? Is the life of a man more valuable than our national interests within the border of the United States? Is the life of a man more valuable than our national interests six thousand miles away?
Before we close this segment, let us take a closer look at the prophecy that was given to Isaiah that shows how Israel rebelled against the Lord. In Chapter 30, he writes, “Woe to the rebellious children, saith the Lord, that take counsel, but not of me; and that cover with a covering, but not of my spirit, that they may add sin to sin; (2) That walk to go down into Egypt, and have not asked at my mouth; to strengthen themselves in the strength of Pharaoh, and to trust in the shadow of Egypt! (3) Therefore shall the strength of Pharaoh be your shame, and the trust in the shadow of Egypt your confusion.” Do we seek counsel from God?
In Isaiah, Chapter 30, the Word of God continues to warn His people of their destruction to come. God told Isaiah to write it before them in a table, and note it in a book, that it may be for the time to come for ever and ever: Continuing at verse 9, “That this a rebellious people, lying people, children that will not hear the law of the Lord: (10) Which say to the seers, See not; and to the prophets, Prophesy not unto us right things, speak unto us smooth things, prophesy deceits: (11) Get you out of the way, turn aside out of the path, cause the Holy One of Israel to cease from before us. (12) Wherefore thus saith the Holy One of Israel, because ye despise this word, and trust in oppression and perverseness and stay thereon:
(13) Therefore this iniquity shall be to you as a breach ready to fall, swelling out in a high wall, whose breaking cometh suddenly at an instant.”
Take a moment and meditate on these precious words of God. Are they applicable to what happened at the World Trade Center on September 11, 2001? Did we take counsel of God when we developed our international trade agreements? Did we take counsel of God when we outlined our policies on global economy? Did we take counsel of God when we expanded our labor pool to the uttermost parts of the earth to include China, and then failed to ensure that our trading partners paid these workers living wages? Do our trading agreements foster oppression of the poor, child labor, sweatshops, and perverseness? The word of God says, leaders of His people cause them to err, and they (His people) that are led of them are destroyed. Consequently, God’s people are destroyed on their jobs and in warfare because of leaders who cause God’s people to err.
Isaiah 30:13 describes what happened on September 11, 2001 in New York at the World Trade Center. God wants you to know that these scriptures give an account of a rebellious Judah and they also apply to us today. Remember the word of God says, “God’s righteousness is forever.” Isaiah 30:8 says, “Now go, write it before them in a table, and note it in a book, that it may be for time to come forever and forever:” Today, God wants His people to know it was written in a book not just to make record of the event. However, it was also written for His rebellious people today to learn the consequence of their actions, when they continue to trust in oppression and perverseness.
God does not want the leaders of the United States or any leaders of any other nation to fail to seek His counsel. God has richly blessed America. In 2001, nations around the world held America in high esteem. Many nations see the leaders in America as their Pharaoh and they trust in the shadow of the United States. Nevertheless, since 9/11 (September 11, 2001) America’s leaders have not consulted God and have made plans contrary to His will. Pray for the leaders of the United States to trust not in oppression and perverseness, but in God. Pray that nations put their trust in God and not in the shadow of the United States. Pray. Pray that we repent, learn to fear God, and trust in the only true and Living God, in the name of JESUS.
God knows the hearts of leaders; the ones who will receive this report. Therefore, Isaiah writes in Chapter 30:9-12 what describes their frame of mind of leaders who will receive this report. Lets review God’s word. (9) “That this is a rebellious people, lying children, children that will not hear the law of the Lord. (10) Which say to the seers, See not; and to the prophets, Prophesy not unto us right things, speak unto us smooth things, prophesy deceits: (11) Get you out of the way, turn aside out of the path, cause the Holy One of Israel to cease from before us. (12) Wherefore, thus saith the Holy One of Israel, Because ye despise this word, and trust in oppression and perverseness and stay thereon:”
One may have an opinion that these scriptures do not pertain to us today. Oh how we err here. We must learn from the prophets. Consequently, God has given me this spirit and the task of warning this nation, as God gave the task to Isaiah to warn Judah and Israel. Isaiah 58:1 says, “Cry aloud, spare not, lift up thy voice like a trumpet, and show my people their transgression, and the house of Jacob their sins.” I started blowing this trumpet on October 6, 2001, however like Isaiah, I have not been received. Today, however God is warning you to listen to my testimonies and His word, repent, pray, and help sound this trumpet to wake up our brothers and sisters in Christ and to warn our leaders.
We must sound this trumpet because our leaders continue to err. Isaiah, Chapter 9, beginning with verse 16 states, “For the leaders of His people cause them to err; and they that are led of them are destroyed.” Isaiah, Chapter 30, says, “Woe to the rebellious children, saith the Lord, that take counsel, but not of me;” Today, America is at war not because of the massive destruction in New York, Washington D.C., and the loss of lives in Pennsylvania, but because of errors of our leaders. Here, God must be our counsel, if we are to be truly victorious. If we do not seek the righteousness of God, in the long run, we will lose. To win this war, we must work to change people’s hearts, to include our own hearts. The Church must come forth and speak the word of God.
The Church must stand on God’s word; there is no compromise. Men and women of God, this is the most important test you will experience in your lifetime to stand for God or to yield to leaders who desire that you prophesy not unto them right things, but speak unto them smooth things, and to prophesy deceits.
Here is a simple prayer that each man and woman of God should pray. Psalm 139:23-24, “Search me, O God, and know my heart: try me, and know my thoughts: And see if there be any wicked way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting.”
The book, "Ending Terrorism In the United States: God Has Warned U. S." is an outstanding resource to have if you are truly serious about seeking the Righteousness of God in the name of JESUS.
