Yes GOD Calls Women to Preach and The Revelation of There is No Place Clean

This work is the “Refreshing” that Isaiah mentioned at Isaiah 28:12-13; it addresses the revelation in Isaiah 28 – there is no place clean and the false doctrine regarding women’s roles in the Church.   What false doctrine?  The Bible is the written Word of GOD!  What Bible are you using as your source?  They do not say the same thing!   “What?” This is a very important sentence.  What sentence!  “What?”   Listen carefully to this Truth.  The sentence “What?” was removed from 1 Corinthians 14:36 from many versions of the Bible.   Let’s see what Apostle Paul wrote as recorded in the King James’ Version!

1 Corinthians 14:34-36

34Let your women keep silence in the churches: for it is not permitted unto them to speak; but they are commanded to be under obedience, as also saith the law. 35And if they will learn any thing, let them ask their husbands at home: for it is a shame for women to speak in the church. 36What? came the word of God out from you? or came it unto you only?

Most versions of the Bible have removed “What?” from 1 Corinthians 14:36.  This single action changes the true message that Apostle Paul conveyed to the Saints at Corinth.  This sentence: “What?” is there to bring into question the text that preceded the sentence: “What?” It is clear that Apostle Paul admonishes these saints through this communication.

Now let us take another look at 1 Corinthians 14:36 “What? came the word of God out from you? or came it unto you only?”  Some of the versions of the Bible have changed the text by removing the sentence “What?” This change makes it impossible to see this admonishment.  There is no law from God that imposes these restrictions on women.

Consequently, today there are many who are studying from Bibles and they will not understand what Apostle Paul was conveying to these saints; some restrict women from speaking from the pulpit based on this false doctrine.  Many today have read this text even from the King James’s version, however they do not pay close attention to it and do not see it as an admonishment because they are familiar with what Apostle Paul wrote at 1 Timothy 2:9-15.  However, when Apostle Paul admonished these saints at Corinth the book of 1Timothy had not been written. 

Before we discuss what Apostle Paul wrote in 1Timothy 2:9-15, let us see why it was necessary for Apostle Paul to admonish these saints in A. D. 55; this is about 8 years before Apostle Paul wrote 1Timothy.  As we study we find there was contention in Corinth in A. D. 55 regarding not teaching the same thing.  Today we find the same problem in the Church; we are not teaching the same thing in many areas to include doctrines pertaining to the roles of women in the Church.  Today there are many versions of the Bible and they do not say the same thing.  This is one of Satan’s stratagems to undermine the written Word of GOD.   Consequently today Satan’s actions have had tremendous impacts on the Church; and help facilitate the divide. 

At 2 Timothy 3:16-17, Apostle Paul writes: “All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: that the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works.”  Surely, this is a true statement.  However, men have changed some of the text in the Bible; moreover, some of the text included in the Bible will not meet the test that JESUS has given us to make the determination if everything that is recorded as scripture is the doctrine of men or doctrine of GOD. 

Jesus has given us a way to make the determination whether or not doctrines are of man or God; the rationalities of men cannot replace the process that God has given us to make this determination; moreover, there is no prophecy of the scripture for private interpretation.  The approach that Jesus has given us was followed throughout this work to reach the conclusion that some texts used as scripture are in fact the doctrine of man; this work provides insight for all Christians.  At the onset of writing this article, our primary focus was pertaining to doctrines pertaining to women’s roles within the Church.  However, we have discovered a problem that goes beyond the doctrines pertaining to women; we identify and address a problem that impacts all Christians.

This is a very painful journey, however, to receive these revelations you must have a love for truth, walk through it, and hold your peace to the very end.  If you have a love for Truth you will be able to receive these revelations and then take immediate action to ensure this Truth goes forth.  This work will have a direct impact on every printed version of the Bible today; it will have a direct effect on what is being taught at Bible Colleges and Universities, and what is taught and preached at churches around the world.  Moreover, it will also cause Christian leaders who have a love for Truth to repent and the role of women in the Church will immediately change in churches that are currently following the doctrine of men.

We used the King James Version throughout this work; we strongly recommend that you use the King James Version because some of the bibles have changed the word of God to the point that the scriptures cannot be aligned according to the process that God established in Isaiah 28:9-10 – “Whom shall he teach knowledge? And whom shall he make to understand doctrine? Them that are weaned from the milk, and drawn from the breasts. (10) For precept must be upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line, here a little and there a little.” If you are using the NIV read Isaiah 28:9-10 or click on the link.  This experience alone will show you why the NIV is not your best source to study the Word of God.

Using Jesus’ Instruction to determine if Doctrine is of God or Man

Let’s commence by reviewing what Jesus said regarding how to determine if the doctrine is of God or if the doctrine is of man.   

Let’s see what Jesus says at John 7:16-18

16Jesus answered them, and said, My doctrine is not mine, but his that sent me. 17If any man will do his will, he shall know of the doctrine, whether it be of God, or whether I speak of myself. 18He that speaketh of himself seeketh his own glory: but he that seeketh his glory that sent him, the same is true, and no unrighteousness is in him.

Apostle Paul was inspired by God when he wrote these instructions in A. D. 49 to the saints in the book of Galatians.  These instructions are also for the saints of God today. 

At Galatians 1: 8-9 Apostle Paul writes:

 8 “But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed. 9As we said before, so say I now again, If any man preach any other gospel unto you than that ye have received, let him be accursed.”

It is very important to make note of this because Apostle Paul was even including himself when he wrote these inspired words of God in the name of JESUS; again Apostle Paul wrote this around A.D. 49.  It is imperative that we consider these instructions when we consider scriptures for doctrine today.  Therefore, we must clearly understand what was being taught by Apostle Paul and the other Apostles in A. D. 49.  Moreover, we must apply the resolution that Jesus gave at John 7:16-18 to all scriptures and determine if any doctrine is contrary to what was being taught in A. D. 49 is being taught today to include scriptures recorded in the Bible. 

Today there are many churches that use what is written in 1Timothy 2:9-15 as a major doctrine to govern women’s activities or lack thereof in the Church.  However, when Apostle Paul admonished these saints at Corinth the book of 1Timothy had not been written.   In fact 1 Timothy was not written until about 14 years after Apostle Paul wrote Galatians. 

Let’s read what 1 Timothy 2:9-15 says.

9In like manner also, that women adorn themselves in modest apparel, with shamefacedness and sobriety; not with braided hair, or gold, or pearls, or costly array; 10But (which becometh women professing godliness) with good works. 11Let the woman learn in silence with all subjection. 12But I suffer not a woman to teach, nor to usurp authority over the man, but to be in silence. 13For Adam was first formed, then Eve. 14And Adam was not deceived, but the woman being deceived was in the transgression. 15Notwithstanding she shall be saved in childbearing, if they continue in faith and charity and holiness with sobriety.

Here is the question!  It has been established that there was contention within the Church and they were not teaching the same thing.  Moreover, it was explained that Apostle Paul did admonish the Saints concerning their disposition regarding women when he wrote to the saints in Corinth.  Therefore, it is of utmost importance to determine the foundation for Apostle Paul making the comment “But I suffer not a woman to teach.”  It must be determined if this disposition was the inspired Word of God or was this doctrine the personal doctrine of Apostle Paul.  It is imperative that we follow the instruction that JESUS gave us at John 7:16-18 to make this determination.

In the Book of Acts, Luke covers how God used Apostle Paul in a mighty way.  Luke also writes how God showed Apostle Paul how He moves on the hearts of women – Luke records one of these experiences that Apostle Paul had with a woman, named Lydia from the City of Thyatira in Acts 16.

God Opens Lydia’s Heart to Attend to the Things That Apostle Paul Taught

Acts 16:11-15

11Therefore loosing from Troas, we came with a straight course to Samothracia, and the next day to Neapolis;12And from thence to Philippi, which is the chief city of that part of Macedonia, and a colony: and we were in that city abiding certain days. 13And on the sabbath we went out of the city by a river side, where prayer was wont to be made; and we sat down, and spake unto the women which resorted thither.

14And a certain woman named Lydia, a seller of purple, of the city of Thyatira, which worshipped God, heard us: whose heart the Lord opened, that she attended unto the things which were spoken of Paul. 15And when she was baptized, and her household, she besought us, saying, If ye have judged me to be faithful to the Lord, come into my house, and abide there. And she constrained us.

Here we can see that God opened this woman’s heart to attend to the things that were spoken by Paul.

Let us take a close look at Acts 16.  We will find this woman from the City of Thyatira named Lydia.  Luke writes at Acts 16: 13, on the Sabbath they went out of the city by a riverside, where prayer was wont to be made; he said that they sat down, and spake unto the women which were there.   Luke writes about this woman named Lydia.

Luke said Lydia worshipped God!

Lydia heard Apostle Paul when he spoke!

God opened her heart!

God Gave her instructions – that she attended unto the things which Paul spoke of.   And when she and the people in her household were baptized; She said unto them to come stay at her house if they judged her to be faithful to the Lord.  They agreed to abide at her house. 

Now, what does this mean?   God opened her heart to attend to the things that Paul taught.  What does the word attend mean?  Surely, the word, attend means to pay attention to; however, the word also means to take care of.  Yes she took this word to her household and her whole household received it and everyone in her household was baptized.  Where there any men in her household? 

It is recorded that Paul and Silas were put in prison while they were there for teaching customs which was unlawful for the people to receive;  in other words for preaching the gospel of Christ. At Acts 16:27-34 it explains how the keeper of the prison asked what he needed to do to be saved and how Apostle Paul and Silas shared the gospel, and the keeper and his house believed. It is recorded that after they left prison, they went to the house of Lydia: and when they had seen the brethren, they comforted them, and departed.

The keeper of the prison asked Paul, what should he do to be saved; however, in the case of Lydia, God pricked her heart and directed her to attend to things that Apostle Paul taught. At this junction of the preaching of the gospel there is no record that women were told that they must be silent in the church and to ask their husband at home.   The record shows that a Church was established in Thyatira.  (Revelation 2:18-29)

The next time Thyatira is mentioned is in the book of Revelation at 1:11 whereby Jesus speaks as a great voice of a trumpet giving John what to write to the seven Churches in Asia.  Thyatira is one of those Churches.  Who established this Church? Surely there was a Church established in the home of Lydia!  Who was the Pastor?  Was it a Woman named Lydia?  Was this woman who worshipped God, the woman that Apostle Paul and Silas judged to be faithful to God – the woman that God gave instructions to take care of the things that Apostle Paul taught; one of the teachers? Again was Lydia the Pastor of the Church that was established in Thyatira? What did God mean when He gave Lydia instructions to attend to the things that Paul taught?  Lydia had clearly demonstrated that she was attending to the things that Apostle Paul taught; like Cornelius, Lydia worshipped God, her whole household was saved.  Did Apostle Paul teach as Jesus taught to go forth and make disciples of men? Apostle Paul and those with him believed that she was faithful to God.  God chose her; this is a clear demonstration that God is no respecter of persons.  In other words, God does not discriminate based on national origin, gender, or social status.  Therefore, if God does not discriminate based on gender there must be other evidence.

Other Accounts of Women’s Active Roles in the Church

There are other records of women’s active roles in the Church; Apostle Paul even commended some of them in Romans chapter 16.  Apostle Paul identifies himself as the author of this book.  Some scholars say it was written in A.D. 57 or A.D. 58.

1 I commend unto you Phebe our sister, which is a servant of the church which is at Cenchrea: 2That ye receive her in the Lord, as becometh saints, and that ye assist her in whatsoever business she hath need of you: for she hath been a succourer of many, and of myself also.  (Here it shows that Phebe was in a position of authority; surely this was the work of a deacon.)

Apostle Paul commends Mary

Apostle Paul commends others to include women who labored in the Lord

8Greet Amplias my beloved in the Lord. 9Salute Urbane, our helper in Christ, and Stachys my beloved. 10Salute Apelles approved in Christ. Salute them which are of Aristobulus' household. 11Salute Herodion my kinsman. Greet them that be of the household of Narcissus, which are in the Lord. 

12Salute Tryphena and Tryphosa, who labour in the Lord. Salute the beloved Persis, which laboured much in the Lord. (Tryphena and Tryphosa are women.)

13Salute Rufus chosen in the Lord, and his mother and mine.14Salute Asyncritus, Phlegon, Hermas, Patrobas, Hermes, and the brethren which are with them. 15Salute Philologus, and Julia, Nereus, and his sister, and Olympas, and all the saints which are with them. 16Salute one another with an holy kiss. The churches of Christ salute you.

Apostle Paul Implored Two Women who labored with him in the Gospel to be of the same mind

Apostle Paul acknowledges himself as the author of Philippians; it believed that it was written about A.D. 61.

Philippians 4:2-3 says: “I beseech Euodias, and beseech Syntyche, that they be of the same mind in the Lord. (3) And I intreat thee also, true yokefellow, help those women which labour with me in the gospel, with Clement also, and with other my fellowlabourers, whose names are in the book of life.”

Apostle Paul Teaches Many Chief Women

Paul Preaches at Thessalonica Acts 17:1-4 (Luke wrote the Book of Acts, A. D. 61 is the widely accepted date)

1Now when they had passed through Amphipolis and Apollonia, they came to Thessalonica, where was a synagogue of the Jews: 2And Paul, as his manner was, went in unto them, and three sabbath days reasoned with them out of the scriptures, 3Opening and alleging, that Christ must needs have suffered, and risen again from the dead; and that this Jesus, whom I preach unto you, is Christ. 4And some of them believed, and consorted with Paul and Silas; and of the devout Greeks a great multitude, and of the chief women not a few.

(Please note there were a number of chief women involved: 1Timothy was not written until about A. D. 63; Luke writes Acts about A. D. 61.  Surely there was not any mention about prohibiting women to teach or learning in silence with chief women present.)

10And the brethren immediately sent away Paul and Silas by night unto Berea: who coming thither went into the synagogue of the Jews. 11These were more noble than those in Thessalonica, in that they received the word with all readiness of mind, and searched the scriptures daily, whether those things were so. 12Therefore many of them believed; also of honourable women which were Greeks, and of men, not a few. 13But when the Jews of Thessalonica had knowledge that the word of God was preached of Paul at Berea, they came thither also, and stirred up the people. 14And then immediately the brethren sent away Paul to go as it were to the sea: but Silas and Timotheus abode there still. 15And they that conducted Paul brought him unto Athens: and receiving a commandment unto Silas and Timotheus for to come to him with all speed, they departed.

Apostle Paul’s Ministry in Corinth Acts 18

1After these things Paul departed from Athens, and came to Corinth; 2And found a certain Jew named Aquila, born in Pontus, lately come from Italy, with his wife Priscilla; (because that Claudius had commanded all Jews to depart from Rome:) and came unto them. 3And because he was of the same craft, he abode with them, and wrought: for by their occupation they were tentmakers. 4And he reasoned in the synagogue every sabbath, and persuaded the Jews and the Greeks.

5And when Silas and Timotheus were come from Macedonia, Paul was pressed in the spirit, and testified to the Jews that Jesus was Christ. 6And when they opposed themselves, and blasphemed, he shook his raiment, and said unto them, Your blood be upon your own heads; I am clean: from henceforth I will go unto the Gentiles. 7And he departed thence, and entered into a certain man's house, named Justus, one that worshipped God, whose house joined hard to the synagogue. 8And Crispus, the chief ruler of the synagogue, believed on the Lord with all his house; and many of the Corinthians hearing believed, and were baptized.9Then spake the Lord to Paul in the night by a vision, Be not afraid, but speak, and hold not thy peace: 10For I am with thee, and no man shall set on thee to hurt thee: for I have much people in this city. 11And he continued there a year and six months, teaching the word of God among them.

Paul Returns to Antioch – Priscilla’s role in teaching a man named Apollos

18And Paul after this tarried there yet a good while, and then took his leave of the brethren, and sailed thence into Syria, and with him Priscilla and Aquila; having shorn his head in Cenchrea: for he had a vow. 19And he came to Ephesus, and left them there: but he himself entered into the synagogue, and reasoned with the Jews. 20When they desired him to tarry longer time with them, he consented not; 21But bade them farewell, saying, I must by all means keep this feast that cometh in Jerusalem: but I will return again unto you, if God will. And he sailed from Ephesus.

24And a certain Jew named Apollos, born at Alexandria, an eloquent man, and mighty in the scriptures, came to Ephesus. 25This man was instructed in the way of the Lord; and being fervent in the spirit, he spake and taught diligently the things of the Lord, knowing only the baptism of John. 26And he began to speak boldly in the synagogue: whom when Aquila and Priscilla had heard, they took him unto them, and expounded unto him the way of God more perfectly. 27And when he was disposed to pass into Achaia, the brethren wrote, exhorting the disciples to receive him: who, when he was come, helped them much which had believed through grace: 28For he mightily convinced the Jews, and that publickly, shewing by the scriptures that Jesus was Christ.

Apostle Paul personally worked with women who had active roles in the Church; he even commended some who were deacons, an Apostle, teachers, and evangelists in the book of Romans.  Apostle Paul identifies himself as the writer of Romans; some scholars believe that the book of Romans was written in A.D. 57 or A.D. 58.

The foundation of the works of the Apostles and Revelation of the Word of God in Action

We have aligned scriptures that are designed to lay the foundation of the works of the Apostles, and we show the process that was used by Satan to infiltrate the printed gospel.  The commentaries in this work are very limited; however you will find short transitions that link certain concepts and scriptures.  Let us begin the journey!

In Joel 2:28, God said that He would pour out His Spirit on all flesh; we know that Acts chapter two gives the account when this first happened, when these saints of God received the Holy Ghost in the name of JESUS. Let us review Joel 2:28-29.

28And it shall come to pass afterward, that I will pour out my spirit upon all flesh; and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, your young men shall see visions:

29And also upon the servants and upon the handmaids in those days will I pour out my spirit.

Let us take a look at how God set up the Church according to scripture.

First let’s look at Spiritual Gifts.

1 Corinthians 12:28-31

28And God hath set some in the church, first apostles, secondarily prophets, thirdly teachers, after that miracles, then gifts of healings, helps, governments, diversities of tongues. 29 Are all apostles? are all prophets? are all teachers? are all workers of miracles? 30Have all the gifts of healing? do all speak with tongues? do all interpret? 31But covet earnestly the best gifts: and yet shew I unto you a more excellent way.

Ephesians 4 explains the offices or positions that God calls people to.  We must remember that it is God our Heavenly Father who calls His people to these positions. 

He that descended is the same also that ascended up far above all heavens, that he might fill all things.) 11And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers; 12 For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ: 

13Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ: 14That we henceforth be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, and cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive; 15But speaking the truth in love, may grow up into him in all things, which is the head, even Christ: 16From whom the whole body fitly joined together and compacted by that which every joint supplieth, according to the effectual working in the measure of every part, maketh increase of the body unto the edifying of itself in love. 

1 Corinthians 12:4-12

It is also important to understand how Spiritual Gifts are bestowed.

4Now there are diversities of gifts, but the same Spirit. 5And there are differences of administrations, but the same Lord. 6And there are diversities of operations, but it is the same God which worketh all in all. 7But the manifestation of the Spirit is given to every man to profit withal. 8For to one is given by the Spirit the word of wisdom; to another the word of knowledge by the same Spirit; 9To another faith by the same Spirit; to another the gifts of healing by the same Spirit; 10To another the working of miracles; to another prophecy; to another discerning of spirits; to another divers kinds of tongues; to another the interpretation of tongues: 11But all these worketh that one and the selfsame Spirit, dividing to every man severally as he will.”

12For as the body is one, and hath many members, and all the members of that one body, being many, are one body: so also is Christ. 13For by one Spirit are we all baptized into one body, whether we be Jews or Gentiles, whether we be bond or free; and have been all made to drink into one Spirit.”

23And those members of the body, which we think to be less honourable, upon these we bestow more abundant honour; and our uncomely parts have more abundant comeliness. 24For our comely parts have no need: but God hath tempered the body together, having given more abundant honour to that part which lacked: 25That there should be no schism in the body; but that the members should have the same care one for another. 26And whether one member suffer, all the members suffer with it; or one member be honoured, all the members rejoice with it.

The Revelation: God is No Respecter of Persons

Apostle Peter had to be given even more revelations to carry out the will of God.  God revealed to Peter that He is no respecter of persons!  No Respecter of persons!  God does not show partiality!   With God, there is no Favoritism. 

Here is an experience that Peter had at Caesarea when God revealed to him that He is no respecter of person.

Luke is the recognized author of the book of Acts.  The date of A. D. 61 is the widely accepted date for the writing of Acts.

In Acts 10 Cornelius sends for Peter!  Luke records:

1There was a certain man in Caesarea called Cornelius, a centurion of the band called the Italian band, 2A devout man, and one that feared God with all his house, which gave much alms to the people, and prayed to God alway. 3He saw in a vision evidently about the ninth hour of the day an angel of God coming in to him, and saying unto him, Cornelius. 4And when he looked on him, he was afraid, and said, What is it, Lord? And he said unto him, Thy prayers and thine alms are come up for a memorial before God. 5And now send men to Joppa, and call for one Simon, whose surname is Peter:

Peter's Vision

9On the morrow, as they went on their journey, and drew nigh unto the city, Peter went up upon the housetop to pray about the sixth hour: 10And he became very hungry, and would have eaten: but while they made ready, he fell into a trance, 11And saw heaven opened, and a certain vessel descending unto him, as it had been a great sheet knit at the four corners, and let down to the earth: 12Wherein were all manner of fourfooted beasts of the earth, and wild beasts, and creeping things, and fowls of the air. 13And there came a voice to him, Rise, Peter; kill, and eat. 14But Peter said, Not so, Lord; for I have never eaten any thing that is common or unclean.15And the voice spake unto him again the second time, What God hath cleansed, that call not thou common.16This was done thrice: and the vessel was received up again into heaven

24And the morrow after they entered into Caesarea. And Cornelius waited for them, and had called together his kinsmen and near friends. 25And as Peter was coming in, Cornelius met him, and fell down at his feet, and worshipped him. 26But Peter took him up, saying, Stand up; I myself also am a man. 27And as he talked with him, he went in, and found many that were come together. 28And he said unto them, Ye know how that it is an unlawful thing for a man that is a Jew to keep company, or come unto one of another nation; but God hath shewed me that I should not call any man common or unclean. 29Therefore came I unto you without gainsaying, as soon as I was sent for: I ask therefore for what intent ye have sent for me?

The Gentiles Hear the Good News

34Then Peter opened his mouth, and said, Of a truth I perceive that God is no respecter of persons: 35But in every nation he that feareth him, and worketh righteousness, is accepted with him. 36The word which God sent unto the children of Israel, preaching peace by Jesus Christ: (he is Lord of all:)

The Gentiles Receive the Holy Spirit

44While Peter yet spake these words, the Holy Ghost fell on all them which heard the word. 45And they of the circumcision which believed were astonished, as many as came with Peter, because that on the Gentiles also was poured out the gift of the Holy Ghost. 46For they heard them speak with tongues, and magnify God. Then answered Peter, 47Can any man forbid water, that these should not be baptized, which have received the Holy Ghost as well as we? 48And he commanded them to be baptized in the name of the Lord. Then prayed they him to tarry certain days.

Here we can see how the law restricted the Jews from keeping company with people from other nations; Christ Redeemed Us from the Curse of the Law.  At Matthew 28: 18And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth. 19Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: 20Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.

It is important to understand what happens after all power is given to the Son.  At 1 Corinthians 15:25-28  

25 “For he must reign, till he hath put all enemies under his feet. 26The last enemy that shall be destroyed is death. 27For he hath put all things under his feet. But when he saith, all things are put under him, it is manifest that he is excepted, which did put all things under him. 28And when all things shall be subdued unto him, then shall the Son also himself be subject unto him that put all things under him, that God may be all in all.” 

It is important that we understand all things were subdued unto the Son then the Son subjected himself back to the Father – that God may be all in all. Without this understanding many are entertaining false doctrine, today.  Surely, this is a special teaching; let’s turn our attention back to the role of women in the Church and how Christ redeemed us from the Curse of the Law.

How Christ Redeemed Us from the Curse of the Law

(Deuteronomy 21:22-23)

Galatians 3:10-14

10For as many as are of the works of the law are under the curse: for it is written, Cursed is every one that continueth not in all things which are written in the book of the law to do them. 11But that no man is justified by the law in the sight of God, it is evident: for, The just shall live by faith. 12And the law is not of faith: but, The man that doeth them shall live in them. 13Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree: 14That the blessing of Abraham might come on the Gentiles through Jesus Christ; that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith.

Galatians 3:19 - 29

19Wherefore then serveth the law? It was added because of transgressions, till the seed should come to whom the promise was made; and it was ordained by angels in the hand of a mediator. 20Now a mediator is not a mediator of one, but God is one. 21Is the law then against the promises of God? God forbid: for if there had been a law given which could have given life, verily righteousness should have been by the law. 22But the scripture hath concluded all under sin, that the promise by faith of Jesus Christ might be given to them that believe.

23But before faith came, we were kept under the law, shut up unto the faith which should afterwards be revealed. 24Wherefore the law was our schoolmaster to bring us unto Christ, that we might be justified by faith. 25But after that faith is come, we are no longer under a schoolmaster.

Sons Through Faith in Christ  26For ye are all the children of God by faith in Christ Jesus. 27For as many of you as have been baptized into Christ have put on Christ. 28There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus. 29And if ye be Christ's, then are ye Abraham's seed, and heirs according to the promise.

Romans 2 – There is no respect of persons with God

9Tribulation and anguish, upon every soul of man that doeth evil, of the Jew first, and also of the Gentile; 10But glory, honour, and peace, to every man that worketh good, to the Jew first, and also to the Gentile: 11For there is no respect of persons with God.

Romans 3 Justified by Faith

21But now the righteousness of God without the law is manifested, being witnessed by the law and the prophets; 22Even the righteousness of God which is by faith of Jesus Christ unto all and upon all them that believe: for there is no difference: 23For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God; 24Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus: 25Whom God hath set forth to be a propitiation through faith in his blood, to declare his righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of God; 26To declare, I say, at this time his righteousness: that he might be just, and the justifier of him which believeth in Jesus.

It is important to understand that there is No Condemnation in Christ!

Romans 8

1There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit. 2For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death. 3For what the law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, and for sin, condemned sin in the flesh: 4That the righteousness of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit. 5For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit. 6For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace. 7Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be. 8So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God.

Romans 10

10For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. 11For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed. 12For there is no difference between the Jew and the Greek: for the same Lord over all is rich unto all that call upon him. 13For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.

Understanding Why Apostle Paul Admonished the Saints at Corinth

Now we can understand Apostle Paul’s Admonishment to the Saints at Corinth!  Apostle Paul had witnessed how God was using women in ministry to include the role of an apostle. 

Some scholars believe that Apostle Paul wrote the book of 1 and 2 Corinthians between A. D. 55 and A.D. 56

Again Let us see what Apostle Paul wrote.

1 Corinthians 14:33-36

33 For God is not the author of confusion, but of peace, as in all churches of the saints.

34Let your women keep silence in the churches: for it is not permitted unto them to speak; but they are commanded to be under obedience, as also saith the law. 35And if they will learn any thing, let them ask their husbands at home: for it is a shame for women to speak in the church. 36What? came the word of God out from you? or came it unto you only?

Surely Apostle Paul admonishes these saints through this communication. Take another look at 1 Corinthians 14:36 “What? Came the work of God out from you? or came it unto you only?”  Some of the versions of the Bible removed the sentence “What?” This change makes it impossible to see this admonishment.   

There is a problem in the Church; they were not teaching the same thing!

Unity in the Church

(Psalm 133:1-3; Ephesians 4:1-16)

Here we will link several scriptures in the book of 1 Corinthians that show how Apostle Paul addresses the problem of contention within the Church.

Apostle Paul writes:

1 Corinthians 1:10-13

10Now I beseech you, brethren, by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that ye all speak the same thing, and that there be no divisions among you; but that ye be perfectly joined together in the same mind and in the same judgment. 11For it hath been declared unto me of you, my brethren, by them which are of the house of Chloe, that there are contentions among you. 12Now this I say, that every one of you saith, I am of Paul; and I of Apollos; and I of Cephas; and I of Christ. 13Is Christ divided? was Paul crucified for you? or were ye baptized in the name of Paul? 14I thank God that I baptized none of you, but Crispus and Gaius; 15Lest any should say that I had baptized in mine own name. 16And I baptized also the household of Stephanas: besides, I know not whether I baptized any other. 17For Christ sent me not to baptize, but to preach the gospel: not with wisdom of words, lest the cross of Christ should be made of none effect.

1 Corinthians 3:3-9

3For ye are yet carnal: for whereas there is among you envying, and strife, and divisions, are ye not carnal, and walk as men? 4For while one saith, I am of Paul; and another, I am of Apollos; are ye not carnal?

5Who then is Paul, and who is Apollos, but ministers by whom ye believed, even as the Lord gave to every man? 6I have planted, Apollos watered; but God gave the increase. 7So then neither is he that planteth any thing, neither he that watereth; but God that giveth the increase. 8Now he that planteth and he that watereth are one: and every man shall receive his own reward according to his own labour. 9For we are labourers together with God: ye are God's husbandry, ye are God's building.

Called to be Servants

1 Corinthians 7:20-24

 20Let every man abide in the same calling wherein he was called.

21Art thou called being a servant? care not for it: but if thou mayest be made free, use it rather. 22For he that is called in the Lord, being a servant, is the Lord's freeman: likewise also he that is called, being free, is Christ's servant. 23Ye are bought with a price; be not ye the servants of men. 24Brethren, let every man, wherein he is called, therein abide with God.

Besides the issue pertaining to women, 1 Corinthians chapter 14 covered other areas regarding order within the church regarding the speaking of tongues, spiritual gifts, and prophesying.   However, we are addressing the issue pertaining to women in the Church.

When you take a close look at what happened here you can see how Apostle Paul helped manage the contentions among the saints.  We do not know the reason for all of the contention; however Apostle Paul addressed the notion about women being silent in the Church at 1 Corinthians 14: 36.  “What? came the word of God out from you? or came it unto you only?” Let’s make it very clear; When you take a close look at this statement you will find in A. D. 56, Apostle Paul wrote and told them that it was nonsense to think women should be silent in the church; This is not a law of God!  Based on doctrine when you receive the gift of the Holy Ghost you have the same Spirit that raised Jesus from the dead.  It is not our fleshy body that does the work, however the power of the Living God in the name of JESUS.

In the book of 2 Corinthians Apostle Paul discusses the Admonishment

2 Corinthians 7:5-12

5For, when we were come into Macedonia, our flesh had no rest, but we were troubled on every side; without were fightings, within were fears. 6Nevertheless God, that comforteth those that are cast down, comforted us by the coming of Titus; 7And not by his coming only, but by the consolation wherewith he was comforted in you, when he told us your earnest desire, your mourning, your fervent mind toward me; so that I rejoiced the more. 8For though I made you sorry with a letter, I do not repent, though I did repent: for I perceive that the same epistle hath made you sorry, though it were but for a season. 9Now I rejoice, not that ye were made sorry, but that ye sorrowed to repentance: for ye were made sorry after a godly manner, that ye might receive damage by us in nothing. 10For godly sorrow worketh repentance to salvation not to be repented of: but the sorrow of the world worketh death. 11For behold this selfsame thing, that ye sorrowed after a godly sort, what carefulness it wrought in you, yea, what clearing of yourselves, yea, what indignation, yea, what fear, yea, what vehement desire, yea, what zeal, yea, what revenge! In all things ye have approved yourselves to be clear in this matter. 12Wherefore, though I wrote unto you, I did it not for his cause that had done the wrong, nor for his cause that suffered wrong, but that our care for you in the sight of God might appear unto you.

Some scholars say Apostle Paul is the author of Ephesians and he probably wrote it in A. D. 60.

In Ephesians chapter four, Apostle Paul explained the importance of coming to the Unity of the faith, and the knowledge of the Son of God to a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ.  Let us take a close look at what Apostle Paul writes at Ephesians 4:11-16

 11And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers; 12For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ: 13Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ:

 14That we henceforth be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, and cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive; 

15But speaking the truth in love, may grow up into him in all things, which is the head, even Christ: 16From whom the whole body fitly joined together and compacted by that which every joint supplieth, according to the effectual working in the measure of every part, maketh increase of the body unto the edifying of itself in love.

Let’s take a closer look at Ephesians 4:14.   That we henceforth be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, and cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive; 

Sleight means deceitful craftiness also stratagem – cunning means dexterous of crafty use in resources (as skill or knowledge) or in attaining an end.  A plotter!  This verse is really packed. Satan knows the scriptures.  Satan knows in order to enter into a strong man’s house and spoil the goods first the strong man must be bound.  In the House of God the Strong Man is the Holy Spirit; Satan cannot bind the Holy Spirit himself, but the Holy Spirit can be bound by doctrines and practices of the Saints.  Therefore, one of Satan’s stratagems is to undermine the integrity of the written Word of God; then the Saints would not come to the unity of the faith and the knowledge if the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ.  Satan has achieved this objective; consequently today the Saints of the living God are being tossed to fro by every wind of doctrine.  Surely this is a call to action.

Before we apply the process that Jesus gave us to determine if doctrine is of God or man, let us take a closer look at a problem that Apostle Paul had.  

Apostle Paul admitted that he had a problem!

Apostle Paul’s Thorn in the flesh

King James Bible 2 Corinthians 12:7

“And lest I should be exalted above measure through the abundance of the revelations, there was given to me a thorn in the flesh, the messenger of Satan to buffet me, lest I should be exalted above measure.”

The messenger of Satan to buffet me – what does the word buffet mean?  

It is true that the word buffet means to strike, hit, or to give a blow.  However, this is the messenger of Satan; therefore we are dealing with words and thoughts that attacked his mind.  Consequently if he fails to manage it, Apostle Paul would surely sin.  It was always present – therefore, we must also consider another meaning for buffet.  The thoughts were like foods that were spread before him to select from.   Apostle Paul describes the condition at Romans 7:13-25; it is important that we pay very close attention to what Apostle Paul is saying in this text.  Do not read it fast; read it slow and see the predicament that Apostle Paul realized.

Apostle Paul Struggling with Sin - Romans 7:13-25

13Was then that which is good made death unto me? God forbid. But sin, that it might appear sin, working death in me by that which is good; that sin by the commandment might become exceeding sinful.

14For we know that the law is spiritual: but I am carnal, sold under sin. 15For that which I do I allow not: for what I would, that do I not; but what I hate, that do I. 16If then I do that which I would not, I consent unto the law that it is good. 17Now then it is no more I that do it, but sin that dwelleth in me. 18For I know that in me (that is, in my flesh,) dwelleth no good thing: for to will is present with me; but how to perform that which is good I find not. 19For the good that I would I do not: but the evil which I would not, that I do. 20Now if I do that I would not, it is no more I that do it, but sin that dwelleth in me.

21I find then a law, that, when I would do good, evil is present with me. 22For I delight in the law of God after the inward man: 23But I see another law in my members, warring against the law of my mind, and bringing me into captivity to the law of sin which is in my members.

 24 O wretched man that I am! who shall deliver me from the body of this death? 25I thank God through Jesus Christ our Lord. So then with the mind I myself serve the law of God; but with the flesh the law of sin.

This is a very serious infirmity that Apostle Paul had.   Apostle Paul acknowledges that if he ever yielded to his flesh that sin by the commandment might become exceeding sinful.

Many Christians cannot imagine Apostle Paul walking in his flesh.  However, Apostle Paul shared with the Galatians when he admonished Apostle Peter for walking in his flesh. (Galatians 2:16) Therefore, surely Apostle Paul could also walk in his flesh.  In fact, Luke writes about a period of Apostle Paul’s life that clearly shows that he yielded to his flesh.  However, there are many who have never recognized that Apostle Paul was in his flesh when he did these things.  Let us carefully review these scriptures and consequences of Apostle Paul’s actions.  Luke writes:

In Acts 19, Luke writes how God used Apostle Paul in a mighty way in Ephesus.  At Acts 19:17-21 says:

¹⁷ And this was known to all the Jews and Greeks also dwelling at Ephesus; and fear fell on them all, and the name of the Lord Jesus was magnified.

¹⁸ And many that believed came, and confessed, and shewed their deeds.

¹⁹ Many of them also which used curious arts brought their books together, and burned them before all men: and they counted the price of them, and found it fifty thousand pieces of silver.

²⁰ So mightily grew the word of God and prevailed.

²¹ After these things were ended, Paul purposed in the spirit, when he had passed through Macedonia and Achaia, to go to Jerusalem, saying, After I have been there, I must also see Rome.

Surely God used Apostle Paul in a mighty way in Ephesus, however after being used in a mighty way Apostle Paul wanted to leave Ephesus and go to Jerusalem.  It is very important to pay very close attention to verse 19:21.  It says “Paul purposed in the spirit.”  It is very important to note word “spirit” is not capitalized.  This is how it is written in the King James Version of the Bible.  There are some other versions of the Bible that have changed the word “spirit” to “Spirit.”   The words “spirit” and “Spirit” are not interchangeable because the usages of the words are not the same when written in the New Testament of the King James Version of the Bible.  When Apostle Paul wrote these letters they were not written in English, however they were translated.  According to the Companion Bible, in this text “spirit” = pneuma is the Greek corresponding with the Hebrew rauch in the Old Testament – the meaning is determined by the usages.  In this text it was determined that spirit = his spirit – The meaning he was firmly resolved.

Let us take a look at how some Bibles have changed this verse and to reflect on their interpretation of this text.

New International Version
After all this had happened, Paul decided to go to Jerusalem, passing through Macedonia and Achaia. "After I have been there," he said, "I must visit Rome also."

New Living Translation
Afterward Paul felt compelled by the Spirit to go over to Macedonia and Achaia before going to Jerusalem. “And after that,” he said, “I must go on to Rome!”

English Standard Version
Now after these events Paul resolved in the Spirit to pass through Macedonia and Achaia and go to Jerusalem, saying, “After I have been there, I must also see Rome.”

Berean Study Bible
After these things had happened, Paul resolved in the Spirit to go to Jerusalem after he had passed through Macedonia and Achaia. “After I have been there,” he said, “I must see Rome as well.”

Berean Literal Bible
Now after these things were fulfilled, Paul purposed in the Spirit to go to Jerusalem, having passed through Macedonia and Achaia, having said, "After my having been there, it behooves me to see Rome also."

After these events, Paul resolved by the Spirit to pass through Macedonia and Achaia and go to Jerusalem. "After I've been there," he said, "It is necessary for me to see Rome as well."

Contemporary English Version
After all this had happened, Paul decided to visit Macedonia and Achaia on his way to Jerusalem. Paul had said, "From there I will go on to Rome."

Good News Translation
After these things had happened, Paul made up his mind to travel through Macedonia and Achaia and go on to Jerusalem. "After I go there," he said, "I must also see Rome."

This is a teachable moment!  These Bibles do not say the same thing.  Some has interpreted this verse as if Apostle Paul was move by the Spirit of God to go back to Jerusalem at this junction.  However, let us see what this verse is really conveying by looking at several other scriptures.  Here we will line up the scriptures as outlined in Isaiah 28:10.

Acts 20:16 says:  16  “For Paul had determined to sail by Ephesus, because he would not spend the time in Asia: for he hasted, if it were possible for him, to be at Jerusalem the day of Pentecost.”  Here we can see Apostle Paul was determined and he hasted.

Acts 20:22 (These are the words of Apostle Paul) 22And now, behold, I go bound in the spirit unto Jerusalem, not knowing the things that shall befall me there: 

 Acts 21:3-4 says:   3Now when we had discovered Cyprus, we left it on the left hand, and sailed into Syria, and landed at Tyre: for there the ship was to unlade her burden. 4And finding disciples, we tarried there seven days: who said to Paul through the Spirit, that he should not go up to Jerusalem.  Here it is important to note the word “Spirit” is capitalized.  According to the Companion Bible in this text “Spirit” = Holy Spirit. Here we can see the Spirit of God is conveying through these disciples that Apostle Paul should not go up to Jerusalem.  

God is not double-minded!  God would not have told Apostle Paul to go to Jerusalem and then move on these disciples to tell him not to go. 

Let us continue to see how this plays out.

Acts 21:10-11 says:  10And as we tarried there many days, there came down from Judaea a certain prophet, named Agabus. 11And when he was come unto us, he took Paul's girdle, and bound his own hands and feet, and said, Thus saith the Holy Ghost, So shall the Jews at Jerusalem bind the man that owneth this girdle, and shall deliver him into the hands of the Gentiles.

Acts 21:12 – 14, Luke writes:  12And when we heard these things, both we, and they of that place, besought him not to go up to Jerusalem. 13Then Paul answered, What mean ye to weep and to break mine heart? for I am ready not to be bound only, but also to die at Jerusalem for the name of the Lord Jesus. 14And when he would not be persuaded, we ceased, saying, The will of the Lord be done.

15And after those days we took up our carriages, and went up to Jerusalem.

Apostle Paul was arrested in Jerusalem.  He was given license to defend himself.  Read and Listen to part of Apostle Paul’s defense!

Acts 22:17-18, 17And it came to pass, that, when I was come again to Jerusalem, even while I prayed in the temple, I was in a trance; 18And saw him saying unto me, Make haste, and get thee quickly out of Jerusalem: for they will not receive thy testimony concerning me.  (This is what Jesus told Apostle Paul from the onset!)

Listen carefully, from the very onset of Apostle Paul’s ministry.  Jesus told Apostle Paul to make haste and get out of Jerusalem.  However, later while in Asia, Apostle Paul was determined to go back to Jerusalem for the day of Pentecost and he hasted.  Other disciples warned him through the Spirit that he should not go.  Prophet Agabus warned him that he would be bound.  However, Apostle Paul was determined and he hasted to go to Jerusalem; therefore it was the spirit of Apostle Paul’s mind. 

It is unfortunate; various versions of the Bibles have erred with private interpretations of scriptures. 

Yes at times Apostle Paul did things his way.  Consequently, this is the reason for some of the contention in the Church today.   Click on this link –  Watch the video and follow Jesus' instruction to address the contention in the church!

After Apostle Paul decided to do it his way, Apostle Paul was under a lot of pressure.  Acts 23 gives the account of the great dissension in Jerusalem regarding Apostle Paul and the conspiracy against him.  Although Apostle Paul did it his way, Luke writes at Acts 23:11: “And the night following the Lord stood by him, and said, Be of good cheer, Paul: for as thou hast testified of me in Jerusalem, so must thou bear witness also at Rome.”  However, Jesus did not explain to him for the next three years that he would be in prison and for two years in Rome he would be under house arrest.    (We all can learn lessons from this experience of Apostle Paul – At John 17:15, Jesus prayed to the Father to keep us from evil.  However, we must adhere to Spirit of God when He directs us!)

Here are various accounts of the last 6 to 7 years of his life.

57–59 Returns to Jerusalem and arrested; imprisoned at Caesarea

59–60 Appears before Festus and appeals to Caesar; voyage to Rome as a prisoner

60–62 Under house arrest at Rome; writes letters to Philippians, Ephesians, Colossians, and Philemon

62–64 Released; journeys to Spain. 

Some scholars believe that Apostle Paul wrote 1 Timothy in A. D. 63

64 Returns to Rome; and later martyred – beheaded in A. D. 67. 

Some scholars believe that Apostle Paul wrote 2 Timothy in A. D. 65 or A. D. 66

Some scholars believe that Apostle Paul wrote Titus in A. D. 65

After Apostle Paul was released from house arrest in A. D. 62 he wrote 1 Timothy in A. D. 63, he wrote 2 Timothy in A.D. 65 or A. D. 66 and he wrote Titus in A.D. 65.  After studying the writings of Apostle Paul prior to A. D. 63, the gospel of Christ and the process that Jesus gave us to determine if doctrines are of God or man it became very clear that there is a serious problem with these writings.  We know God is not double-minded; some of the text in 1Timothy, 2 Timothy and Titus are contrary to the gospel of Christ.  Before you stop reading this text – I am praying in the name of JESUS that you will continue to read and discover the serious problem that the Church must address.

Satan was successful in affecting the mind of Apostle Paul.  The words of Apostle Paul are most appropriate here: Romans 7:20 “Now if I do that I would not, it is no more I that do it, but sin that dwelleth in me.”

Now let’s examine 1 Timothy closely:

Paul's Greeting to Timothy

1Paul, an apostle of Jesus Christ by the commandment of God our Saviour, and Lord Jesus Christ, which is our hope;

2Unto Timothy, my own son in the faith: Grace, mercy, and peace, from God our Father and Jesus Christ our Lord. 

In this salutation, Apostle Paul refers to Timothy 1:2 as his own son in the faith and at 2 Timothy 1:2 as “my dearly beloved son”.   These salutations are contrary to the teaching of Jesus.  Jesus said call no name on earth your father.  Moreover, it also gives ground for Timothy to say that “I am of Paul.”  This disposition is contrary to what Apostle Paul wrote at 1 Corinthians 3:3-4.  Let’s see how Apostle Paul referred to Timothy in other texts.

Before Apostle Paul wrote 1 Timothy, he called Timothy our brother

Philemon 1 “Paul, a prisoner of Jesus Christ, and Timothy our brother, unto Philemon our dearly beloved, and fellow labourer, 2And to our beloved Apphia, and Archippus our fellow soldier, and to the church in thy house:3Grace to you, and peace, from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.”  Here Apostle Paul calls Timothy our brother! Moreover, in 2 Corinthians 1:1 Apostle Paul calls Timothy our brother, and at Colossians 1:1Apostle Paul calls Timotheus our brother.

I want to make note of this because earlier I mentioned how the saints at Corinth were admonished by Apostle Paul for saying, I am of Paul, I am of Cepas, etc.  Here Apostle Paul calls Timothy his son.  This makes Timothy beholden to Apostle Paul as if he was his father.  This is one of the reasons that Jesus said call no man on earth your father.  Moreover, we know what Jesus said as the Son of God that his brothers, sisters, and mothers were the ones who did the will of the Father.  

1 Timothy: Warning against False Teaching

3As I besought thee to abide still at Ephesus, when I went into Macedonia, that thou mightest charge some that they teach no other doctrine, 4Neither give heed to fables and endless genealogies, which minister questions, rather than godly edifying which is in faith: so do. 5Now the end of the commandment is charity out of a pure heart, and of a good conscience, and of faith unfeigned: 6From which some having swerved have turned aside unto vain jangling; 7Desiring to be teachers of the law; understanding neither what they say, nor whereof they affirm.

Here Apostle Paul mentioned not heeding to endless genealogies.  We know that Matthew and Luke wrote about the genealogies of Jesus; in the New Testament there is no mention of other genealogies other than the genealogy of Christ.  But there are a number of genealogies in the Old Testament. 

Apostle Paul also instructed them not to adhere to fables.   What are the fables Apostle Paul is talking about in the gospel?  It is believed by some scholars that Apostle Peter was killed in A. D. 64; however some believe that it was later.  Scholars cannot agree to what is the actual year that Apostle Peter wrote 1 and 2 Peter; some today question if he is the actual author.   However, it is believed by some scholars that 1 Peter was written in A.D. 63 or A. D. 64 and 2 Peter was written prior to his death.  Nevertheless in 2^nd Peter, Apostle Peter made it clear that the resurrection and the coming of Lord Jesus Christ was not a fable.  Pay close attention to what Apostle Peter wrote at 2 Peter 1:16:

 “For we have not followed cunningly devised fables, when we made known unto you the power and coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, but were eyewitnesses of his majesty.”

Prior to Apostle Peter’s execution, he saw a need to address the issue regarding fables in 2 Peter.    However there was no mention regarding fables in the writings of the New Testament until Apostle Paul wrote 1Timothy warning him not to adhere to fables in A. D. 63.  Nevertheless, Apostle Peter was moved to make it clear they had not followed cunningly devised fables, when they made known the power and coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, but they were eye-witness of his majesty. Thank God for the eye-witness accounts of the Apostles. 

The Law

At 1 Timothy 1:7-8

7 Desiring to be teachers of the law; understanding neither what they say, nor whereof they affirm. 8But we know that the law is good, if a man use it lawfully;

Here Apostle Paul is questioning the teaching of others;   Here Apostle Paul says that the law was good!  

Now let us revisit what Apostle Paul wrote at 1 Corinthians 14: 34-36.

34Let your women keep silence in the churches: for it is not permitted unto them to speak; but they are commanded to be under obedience, as also saith the law. 35And if they will learn anything, let them ask their husbands at home: for it is a shame for women to speak in the church. 36What? came the word of God out from you? or came it unto you only? 

God has not given any law commanding women to keep silence in the Church!

Let us examine the instructions for worship for women in 1Timothy 2:9-15.

9 “In like manner also, that women adorn themselves in modest apparel, with shamefacedness and sobriety; not with braided hair, or gold, or pearls, or costly array; 10But (which becometh women professing godliness) with good works.” 

Is this the doctrine of God or doctrine of Apostle Paul?  Hold your peace!

11Let the woman learn in silence with all subjection. 12But I suffer not a woman to teach, nor to usurp authority over the man, but to be in silence. 13For Adam was first formed, then Eve. 14And Adam was not deceived, but the woman being deceived was in the transgression. 15Notwithstanding she shall be saved in childbearing, if they continue in faith and charity and holiness with sobriety.

We must note Apostle Paul said:   “I suffer not a woman to teach.”  Whose doctrine is this?

God is not double-minded

Surely, this is Apostle Paul’s doctrine.  Records show that there were women teachers carrying out the works of God, even before Apostle Paul was called.  Apostle Paul even commended some of them.  God is not double-minded.  This disposition of Apostle Paul is contrary to the activities Luke recorded in the book of Acts and the other works of Apostle Paul prior to A.D. 63.

Childbearing is not a requirement for women to receive Salvation

Apostle Paul made the statement that “she shall be saved in childbearing.”  Here is the question – Is this part of the gospel of Christ regarding salvation?   Jesus and no other Apostle ever mentioned childbearing was a requirement for women to receive salvation.

No Condemnation of those in Christ Jesus Who walk after the Spirit this also includes Women

It is also true that the woman being deceived was in the transgression.  However, the word of God says there is no condemnation of those in Christ Jesus; here it appears that Apostle Paul is condemning women today because Eve was deceived.  The Word of God says that we are new creatures when we are born again.  We become a Holy Temple of God.  Surely, this is not part of the gospel of Christ.

When you take a close look at Apostle Paul’s actions you will understand why God gave me the dream about the green snake. In 2004, God gave me a dream about a white snake; I did not recognize it as a snake at first because the snake was disfigured because it was eating a large object an object that I wanted; however the next day after that dream I had to address the problem regarding the Jehovah’s Witness.  Now today as I am addressing this problem, God shows me a green snake that goes into the grass.  God wants us to understand how Satan uses people. It is very difficult to spot these movements of the snake; it is like a snake in the grass.  The same snake is still alive today; therefore I must be on guard as I write this work in the name of JESUS.  I am fasting and praying and asking God in the name of JESUS to guide me to ensure that I only speak what He would have me to say in the name of JESUS.

Apostle Paul was inspired by God when he wrote these instructions in A. D. 49 to the saints in the book of Galatians.  These instructions are also for the saints of God today.  At Galatians 1: 8-9 Apostle Paul writes:

 8 “But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed. 9As we said before, so say I now again, If any man preach any other gospel unto you than that ye have received, let him be accursed.”

It is very important to make note of this because Apostle Paul was even including himself when he wrote these inspired words of God in the name of JESUS; again Apostle Paul wrote this around A.D. 49.  We applied the resolution that Jesus gave at John 7:16-18 and what Apostle Paul wrote at Galatians 1:8 to reach these conclusions that when Apostle Paul wrote 1^st and 2^nd Timothy and Titus (1) he was in the flesh (2) he wrote the Word of God and he mixed some of his own doctrines with the gospel (3) and he glorified himself.  Apostle Paul’s teaching changed from what he taught in A. D. 49. 

The evidence is overwhelming that there were women working the gospel and some of these women were in leadership roles; Luke and Apostle Paul acknowledged this truth in their writings.  In addition, Apostle Paul even wrote new requirements for women to receive salvation that were not taught by Jesus or any of the other Apostles.  Moreover Apostle Paul even called it his gospel at 2^nd Timothy 2:8 and his doctrine at 2^nd Timothy 3:10.  However, Jesus said that the doctrine was not his but it was the one that sent him.

Today there are many churches that use what is written in 1Timothy 2:9-15 as a major doctrine to govern women’s activities or lack thereof in the Church.  When Apostle Paul called Timothy, his son – he charged Timothy to follow him, he said the gospel had been put in his trust.

Apostle Paul writes at Ephesians 4:14.   That we henceforth be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, and cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive; 

Sleight means deceitful craftiness also stratagem – cunning means dexterous of crafty use in resources (as skill or knowledge) or in attaining an end.  A plotter!  This verse is really packed.  Earlier I mentioned the dream about the green snake.  Does this describe the way a snake would behave?   This is one of the hardest tasks that God has ever given me.  It was very painful because God had used Apostle Paul in so many ways to bless the Church.  Acts 19 clearly points out how in Ephesus, Apostle Paul stood fast and worked the gospel and how the name of Jesus was magnified and how the word of God prevailed.

Surely God worked through Apostle Paul.  It is difficult to even entertain the thought that Apostle Paul could have done anything to undermine the integrity of the gospel.  However, in A. D. 49, the Holy Spirit moved Apostle Paul to write: “But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed.”   Let’s reflect on what Apostle Paul said about this at Romans 7:20 “Now if I do that I would not, it is no more I that do it, but sin that dwelleth in me.”

Again, it is important to understand what Jesus said; the master teacher at John 7:16.

16Jesus answered them, and said, “My doctrine is not mine, but his that sent me. 17If any man will do his will, he shall know of the doctrine, whether it be of God, or whether I speak of myself. 18He that speaketh of himself seeketh his own glory: but he that seeketh his glory that sent him, the same is true, and no unrighteousness is in him.”

After Apostle Paul gave this charge to Timothy in 1 Timothy in A. D. 63 two or three years later Apostle Paul wrote 2 Timothy.  It is of the upmost importance to see the impact; all in Asia stopped following Apostle Paul.

Apostle Paul writes the following at 2 Timothy 1:15:

This thou knowest, that all they which are in Asia be turned away from me; of whom are Phygellus and Hermogenes.

Listen carefully to what this means.  Within three years after Apostle Paul issued this charge to Timothy in 1 Timothy, there was no Church in Asia following Apostle Paul; this included:  the Churches in (1) Ephesus (2) Smyrna (3) Pergamos (4) Thyatira (5) Sardis (6) Philadelphia and the Church at (7) Laodicea

We must take note of this reality.  Why did they stop following him? Was he teaching something different from what he taught in A. D. 49?  Did they consider him to be accursed?  Had these Saints in Asia received the gift of the Holy Ghost?  Answer: Yes!  Why weren’t any of these saints who have received the gift of the Holy Ghost no longer following Apostle Paul?

When we are searching for Truth, it is imperative that we consider every word that Jesus spoke.  Up to this point, the bottom line is, when Apostle Paul made the comment: “But I suffer not a woman to teach…” - this doctrine is not of God.  Jesus said at John 7: 18 “He that speaketh of himself seeketh his own glory:”

If Apostle Paul was seeking his own glory there must be some evidence of this behavior.

When we take a close look at 2 Timothy 4:7-18, we can clearly see that this is primarily about Apostle Paul.

 6For I am now ready to be offered, and the time of my departure is at hand. 7I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith: 8Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing.

Here we can see that Apostle Paul has already made judgement pertaining to him.  However, I am reminded of what Jesus said at Matthew 7:21-21:

21 “Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven. 22Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? 23And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.”

Let us turn our attention back to 2 Timothy 4:

9 “Do thy diligence to come shortly unto me: 10For Demas hath forsaken me, having loved this present world, and is departed unto Thessalonica; Crescens to Galatia, Titus unto Dalmatia. 11Only Luke is with me. Take Mark, and bring him with thee: for he is profitable to me for the ministry.”  

It is important to note what Apostle Paul is saying about Mark.  Now he is proclaiming that Mark is profitable to him, however earlier in the ministry Luke records an account when Apostle Paul did not want to work with Mark.  Acts 15:37-40, Luke writes:  “And Barnabas was determined to take with them John, whose surname was Mark. (38) But Paul thought not good to take him with them, who departed from them from Pamphylia, and went not with them to the work. (39) And the contention was so sharp between them, that they departed asunder one from the other: and so Barnabas took Mark, and sailed unto Cyprus; (40) And Paul chose Silas, and departed, being recommended by the brethren unto the grace of God.” 

Let us continue to review 2 Timothy 4:

 12And Tychicus have I sent to Ephesus. 13The cloke that I left at Troas with Carpus, when thou comest, bring with thee, and the books, but especially the parchments. 14Alexander the coppersmith did me much evil: the Lord reward him according to his works: 15Of whom be thou ware also; for he hath greatly withstood our words.

16At my first answer no man stood with me, but all men forsook me: I pray God that it may not be laid to their charge. 17Notwithstanding the Lord stood with me, and strengthened me; that by me the preaching might be fully known, and that all the Gentiles might hear: and I was delivered out of the mouth of the lion. 18And the Lord shall deliver me from every evil work, and will preserve me unto his heavenly kingdom: to whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen.

At 1 Timothy 1:19-20, Apostle Paul says that he delivered Hymenaeus and Alexander unto Satan, that they may learn not to blaspheme.  Question!  Did God give His the power to deliver anyone to Satan?

At 1 Timothy 5:14, Apostle Paul writes: “I will therefore that the younger women marry, bear children, guide the house, give none occasion to the adversary to speak reproachfully.”   At a first glance this sound great, however it is about the will of GOD in the name of JESUS.

In the scriptures above, we noted where Apostle Paul was speaking about himself.  It must be about God.  For example: Did Demas forsake Apostle Paul or did Demas forsake God?  Did Apostle Paul send Tychicus to Ephesus or did God send him?  Now take note at what Apostle Paul says at Philippians 2:19, “But I trust in the Lord Jesus to send Timotheus shortly unto you …”   It is important that we understand that it is God who calls and it God who sends.  Yes God uses men; however we must acknowledge God and in all our ways that God will order our steps in the name of JESUS. 

Here is the point; when you carefully examine Apostle Paul’s writing in 2 Timothy it is clear that his spirit is troubled and he is not at peace.  Here we can see that Apostle Paul is not following walking according to the instructions that he records in Philippians 2:14:15, “Do all things without murmurings and disputings: That ye may be blameless and harmless, the sons of God, without rebuke, in the midst of a crooked and perverse nation, among whom ye shine as lights in the world:” 

It is painful when you have love for the truth and can see the sleight of Apostle Paul,   (the “I Paul” in the flesh) and his cunning craftiness, and how he laid in wait to deceive because he had been deceived.  Jesus was also tempted; however He had love for the Truth and Jesus countered the messenger from Satan with the Word.  The snake in the grass; we must remember Satan has a way to camouflage himself.  Here is the revelation – Satan was able to camouflage himself through one of God’s Apostles, (Paul.)   Surely this is hard to hear!  Think about it for a moment!  We also have a buffet laid out before us.  Satan is looking for a door to come in.  Like we put on Jesus Christ, once we yield to the flesh we can put on Satan!  There is none immune!  Jesus said at Matthew 24:24 “For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect.”

Let take a quick glance at what was going on with Apostle Paul before he wrote 1 Timothy!

When Apostle Paul wrote this commandment that he did not suffer women to teach, this was done a year after he was set free from being under house arrest.  He had been in prison or on house arrest from A.D. 57 – A.D. 62 for preaching the gospel of Christ!  If you are a man – would you want to see your mother, sister, or your wife go through this type of suffering for teaching the gospel? As a man, would you advocate women teach if those in authority were saying it was against the law? Satan found a door to enter in; Apostle Paul was a man like Apostle Peter, who Apostle Paul admonished for walking in his flesh.  Brothers and sisters this walk is not easy.  I am being attacked now for sharing this Truth!  If you have the love for Truth you will be attacked – you may go to prison – you may be killed for preaching and teaching the Word of God in the name of JESUS.

Consequently, Apostle Paul declared “I suffer not a woman to teach…”this fleshly act is still impacting the Church today. 

It is unfortunate that this doctrine is still in effect today and many churches are governed by it. God wants us to learn from this experience; we must remember that Apostle Paul says at Galatians 2:11-15 that he withstood Peter to the face because he was not walking uprightly according to the truth of the gospel.  Today, we have been charged by God in the name of Jesus to search the scripture and determine if what is written within the Bible is the doctrine of God or the doctrine of man.  This work follows the instruction that Jesus gave us at John 7:16-18. 

Although, I have never read about any scholar focusing on this incongruence; it is apparent that  earlier scholars have observed this incongruence between what Apostle Paul wrote at 1 Corinthians 14:33-36 before the sentence “What?” was removed and what Apostle Paul wrote at 1 Timothy 2:11-12.  It is apparent that a decision was made to address the incongruence by removing the sentence “What?” Surely, this was a rational decision based on man’s logic.  The King James Version is one of the few versions where the sentence “What?” remains.  The ones who made the decision to remove the sentence may not have done it out of malice in their hearts; however it could have been done because of the lack of knowledge and understanding. 

Nevertheless, removing the sentence “What?” did not fix the problem because it could not remove the Truth of the Gospel of Christ!  Surely, over the years many have never seen the admonishment because it had been removed and what they read was within alignment of the text written in 1 Timothy 2:11-12.  Case closed!  Not so fast.  This is for our learning.  We must study to show ourselves approved unto God.   God showed this very moment to Prophet Isaiah.

God revealed this day to Prophet Isaiah

God had Isaiah to write this for us today.  It is imperative for Christians who have love for Truth to receive this revelation.  Listen carefully to what God gave Isaiah to write at Isaiah 28:5-13.

(5) In that day shall the LORD of hosts be for a crown of glory, and for a diadem of beauty, unto the residue of his people,

6And for a spirit of judgment to him that sitteth in judgment, and for strength to them that turn the battle to the gate.

7But they also have erred through wine, and through strong drink are out of the way; the priest and the prophet have erred through strong drink, they are swallowed up of wine, they are out of the way through strong drink; they err in vision, they stumble in judgment.

8For all tables are full of vomit and filthiness, so that there is no place clean.

9Whom shall he teach knowledge? and whom shall he make to understand doctrine? them that are weaned from the milk, and drawn from the breasts.

10For precept must be upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there a little:

11For with stammering lips and another tongue will he speak to this people.

12To whom he said, This is the rest wherewith ye may cause the weary to rest; and this is the refreshing: yet they would not hear.

13But the word of the LORD was unto them precept upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there a little; that they might go, and fall backward, and be broken, and snared, and taken.

This is exactly where we are today.  All tables are full of vomit and filthiness, so there is no place clean.  The written Word of God has been compromised.   Foundation scriptures have been removed to the point in some versions of the Bible that it is impossible to know the son of God to a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ – consequently many are being tossed to and fro by every wind of doctrine.  The roles of women have been restricted by the doctrine of men.  Many are teaching for doctrine the commandments of men and there are many saints who do not know who Jesus is and the power that has been given unto them.  Moreover, up until now the process that Jesus has given us in John 7:16-18 has not been applied to determine whether doctrines written in the Bible were of men or GOD in the name of Jesus.  We have work to do.  The body of Christ must be informed of what has taken place.

God had Prophet Isaiah to declare that there will be no place clean.  If you are a Christian, you have a Bible, books, and papers.  Some of these books and papers contain opinions of men and women and are not based on scriptures.   Some say God did not call women to be pastors or teachers.  Some call God the Son!  Some contain the commandments of men, etc.  In the sight of God these works are unclean – God calls these works vomit.    It does not matter if you have a PhD or D.D. if you study from books that are unclean what you teach is unclean.  Many write books based on what they believe to be true, however if the foundation is faulty it cannot be amplified to change it to the truth.  Consequently, God see all tables as unclean – all tables – all tables, there are no exceptions.

Apostle Paul is the author of both the Book of 1^st Timothy and Titus.  The book of 1^st Timothy was published in A. D. 63 and Titus was published about A. D. 65 or later.  When Apostle Paul wrote Titus his position regarding women teaching and being silent had changed.  In the world, Titus would supersede 1 Timothy references to women not being able to teach and being silent in the church; however God’s doctrines do not change like the directives of mankind.  Today many churches that are holding onto that type of teaching must be told that there is no biblical foundation to follow this doctrine because it was written when Apostle Paul was in his flesh and it is not the doctrine of God.    

Listen carefully some may argue that when Apostle Paul wrote Titus 2:4, he was referring to women teaching other women.  Let’s take a look at the text.

3The aged women likewise, that they be in behaviour as becometh holiness, not false accusers, not given to much wine, teachers of good things; 4That they may teach the young women to be sober, to love their husbands, to love their children,

Here is the key to understanding what is being said.  The comment “teachers of good things”, surely teaching the gospel of Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ falls in this category.  Let us refer to the Strong’s Concordance:

[but] teachers of good. 
καλοδιδασκάλους (kalodidaskalous)
Adjective - Accusative Feminine Plural
Strong's Greek 2567: A teacher of that which is noble (honorable) and good. From kalos and didaskalos; a teacher of the right.

Moreover, it is God who calls saints to be teachers.  Now let us take a look at another charge that Apostle Paul gave Titus regarding elders and bishops.  Surely these positions are appointments. (BY  MAN)  Let’s review Titus 1:4-9.

5For this cause left I thee in Crete, that thou shouldest set in order the things that are wanting, and ordain elders in every city, as I had appointed thee: 6 If any be blameless, the husband of one wife, having faithful children not accused of riot or unruly. 7 For a bishop must be blameless, as the steward of God; not selfwilled, not soon angry, not given to wine, no striker, not given to filthy lucre; 8 But a lover of hospitality, a lover of good men, sober, just, holy, temperate; 9 Holding fast the faithful word as he hath been taught, that he may be able by sound doctrine both to exhort and to convince the gainsayers.

Surely, God has called women to even these positions; As we noted earlier at Romans 16:7, before God called Apostle Paul, God called Apostle Junia, who was a woman.

Some churches are using 1^st Timothy to deny women the right to accept their calling in the office of apostle, prophet (prophetess), evangelist, pastor, or teacher, there is no biblical foundation to deny them.  It is important to understand doctrine; God calls people to these positions.  Let us take a close look at what Apostle Paul writes at Ephesians 4:11-16

 11And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers; 12For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ: 13Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ:

According to the Strong Concordance the Greek word for “some” is as follows:

Article - Accusative Masculine Plural
Strong's Greek 3588: The, the definite article. Including the feminine he, and the neuter to in all their inflections; the definite article; the. (what does the word THE have to do with this?)

The terms Apostles, Prophets, Evangelists, Pastors, and Teachers are all “Masculine Plural.”

 “Masculine Plural.”  This means that these positions are for both males and females.  Moreover, Apostle Paul had witnessed women in these roles to include the role of an Apostle.

There are no provisions in the Holy Bible that prevent women from accepting their calling from God.  Surely revelations given to the Apostles prior to A.D. 63 support this conclusion: There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus.

Here we will be carefully looking for the doctrine of God and the doctrine of Apostle Paul when he allowed Satan to use him.  At Ephesians 4:14, Apostle Paul explained how the saints would be carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, and cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive. 

Now we all can agree that the charge that Apostle Paul gave to Timothy regarding suffering women to teach and to be silent was a wind of doctrine and the doctrine of man.   Apostle Paul writes at 2 Timothy 1: 15 “This thou knowest, that all they which are in Asia be turned away from me; of whom are Phygellus and Hermogenes.” This means that the Seven Churches in Asia were no longer following Apostle Paul. 

Apostle Paul was executed about A. D. 67; however it is believed that Apostle John wrote the Book of Revelation between A.D. 90 and A. D. 100.  In the book of Revelation, chapter one and two, Apostle John writes about the voice of Jesus as a trumpet giving him messages to the Seven Churches in Asia.   This means the Churches in Asia were still operational after they stopped following Apostle Paul after he wrote the book of 1Timothy and 2 Timothy.  Praise God, Apostle Paul wrote the letter to Titus; in this letter it was apparent that his disposition about allowing women to teach had changed; however the writing restricted them from accepting their calling in leadership roles in the Church.   Surely, in the sight of God this work is unclean.

Now think about a green snake in the grass; it will be very difficult to spot that snake. However, within these books in question, you will find at times truth has been interwoven with false doctrine.  God gave us insight through this writing of Apostle Paul:  by the sleight of men, cunning craftiness, and the snake will lie in wait to deceive.

Now take a short trip through 1 Timothy Chapter One and Chapter Two

We will begin at the very onset with the salutation; we find truth, Apostle Paul identifies himself as an Apostle of Jesus Christ, however at the second verse, (1 Timothy 1:2) we find Satan has already made his move.  Apostle Paul calls Timothy his son.  Surely on the surface, many will not see anything wrong with this salutation because Apostle Paul taught Timothy etc. As we reflect on the admonishment of the saints at Corinth, we can see here, Apostle Paul has laid the foundation for Timothy to say: “I am of Paul.”  However, Jesus said at Matthew 23: 9 And call no man your father upon the earth: for one is your Father, which is in heaven. 

Listen carefully, Jesus, “the Son of God to A Perfect Man,” would have referred to Timothy as his brother according to scripture.  Now, hold your peace!    Listen carefully, there is no way anyone can be another person’s spiritual father!  Think about it; we pray that you will repent if you are following Apostle’s Paul’s example on this.  Moreover, Jesus understands the consequences of a man making this declaration regarding one of God’s children.  When Apostle Paul called Timothy and Titus his sons; this makes them beholden to Apostle Paul.  Some will continue to follow their fathers even if their fathers are wrong. 

At 1:3, Apostle Paul reiterates the charge he gave to Timothy at Ephesus that they teach no other doctrine.  This is also true.

At 1:4 Apostle Paul writes: “Neither give heed to fables and endless genealogies, which minister questions, rather than godly, edifying which is in faith so do.”  What prompted Apostle Paul to include the concern regarding endless genealogies and fables in this charge?  This scripture is loaded; “The phrase: “which minister questions.”   We know that Matthew and Luke wrote the genealogies of Jesus; surely there are some ministers who questioned those genealogies at that time and even some ministers may even question these genealogies today.   As we study the accounts regarding the resurrection of Jesus Christ; Mark and Luke give accounts of women reflecting what they had seen.

Next Satan uses Apostle Paul to raise the issue regarding the law.  At 1:9 the statement was made: “But we know that the law is good, if a man use it lawfully.”   This statement was made as a cunning and crafty way to make his next move.  He discussed earlier how God had removed that curse of the law.  Now Apostle Paul continues to share aspects of the law that is true; at this point the movement of Satan cannot be seen because the green snake is in the grass. 

Now read 1 Timothy 1:11 very carefully and pause!  “According to the glorious gospel of the blessed God, which was committed to my trust.” Pause!  Now Apostle Paul appears to be lifted up in pride and this statement is not true; at Galatians 2:9, Apostle Paul writes:   9  “And when James, Cephas, and John, who seemed to be pillars, perceived the grace that was given unto me, they gave to me and Barnabas the right hands of fellowship; that we should go unto the heathen, and they unto the circumcision.”  Apostle Paul was given a part to play as others are called to do; in the Book of Galatians which was written about 14 years earlier, Apostle Paul acknowledges James, Cephas, and John as pillars.  Apostle Paul clearly outlined how we are compacted onto another in Ephesians chapter four. 

Moreover, Apostle Paul acknowledges himself as the author of 1 Thessalonians, it is believed that is was probably written in A. D. 51.  This is about 12 years before he wrote 1Timothy; at 1 Thessalonians 2:4 he writes: “But as we were allowed of God to be put in trust with the gospel, even so we speak; not as pleasing men, but God which trieth our hearts.”  Some may say this is not a big deal; however you must watch every move to see what is happening before your eyes.  Now it is about him!  Hold your peace!!!

Next Apostle Paul shared that he was a blasphemer, and a persecutor, and injurious, but he obtained mercy because he did it ignorantly in unbelief.  And the grace of our Lord was exceeding abundant with faith and love which is in Christ Jesus.  Surely this is true.

At 1 Timothy 1:15, Apostle Paul says: “This is a faithful saying, and worthy of all acceptation, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners; of whom I am chief.”  Here it is true this is why Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners; Jesus affirms this truth.  However, is Apostle Paul the Chief Sinner, God knows!   Let’s look at 1Timothy 1:19-20.

Today the Church is divided; many are walking as men and women in their flesh and are saying and following the doctrine of men or women.  Jesus said at Matthew 23:9 “And call no man your father upon the earth; for one is your Father, which is in heaven.”  Before A. D. 63, Apostle Paul respected this command.  However, in the books of 1^st and 2^nd Timothy and Titus, it was clear he no longer respected this command of God.  He called Timothy and Titus his sons.  Today there are some who follow Apostle Paul and call men on earth their spiritual fathers or their sons.

I am of Joseph Smith, I am of Martin Luther, I am of John Calvin, I am of John Knox, I am of John Wesley, I am of George Fox, I am of Ellen White, I am of Charles Russel, I am of Charles Parham, I am of Herbert W. Armstrong.  This list can go on and on.   Of course, many saints today do not recognize most of these names because there are new names to this list that they are following.  Again, we pray that you will think about what Jesus said before you call your brother or sister in Christ your son or daughter.  Moreover, we pray that all will remember that we have only one spiritual father, this is Our Father in heaven. 

Is Christ Divided?  Jesus said at Mark 7:7 “Howbeit in vain do they worship me teaching for doctrines the commandments of men.”

We have work to do.  Before bringing this work to a conclusion; I had a dream about flies; I was busy outside working.  However, I decided to go inside to get a can of fly spray.  When I returned I looked down on the ground and I noticed there were many flies that were on the ground that I had crushed underneath my shoes.  However, there were a few on the ground that I had not crushed with my feet and there were only a few that were in the air before I sprayed.  I decided to spray a little and I said that I would step back.  Next I awoke from the dream. 

The Revelation – This Truth with go forth.  If you have love for Truth – this Victory is ours.  We are able to crush the enemies underneath our feet; In the name of Jesus!  However, there are some today who will never receive this Truth because of the love of money which is the root of all evil.  Consequently, they will hold fast to their false teachings and prohibit women from being everything that God has called them to be.  Moreover, they will reject this teaching and continue to eat off unclean tables.

Prior to this dream, I had not watched any videos on you-tube about what people were saying regarding women's pastors or teachers.  However, on the same day of the dream, I went to my you-tube channel (Elmore Richmond You Tube) and I noticed a recommendation for me to watch a video regarding what God says about women’s roles in the church.  I watched four or five videos; I saw one angry and hostile presenter, some were sincere however they did not understand that Apostle Paul had yielded to his flesh, one group had a very lively discussion and they agreed to disagree on certain things that were under discussion.   However, none of the presenters of the videos took note of the admonishment at 1 Corinthians 14:33-36.

Moreover, some will not receive this truth and some other things pertaining to truth and the righteousness of God today because they are too proud and their works are about themselves and no longer about Christ.    

The Prophet Daniel describes what is happening today and what those who have love for truth must do now.

Daniel 11:32-35

32And such as do wickedly against the covenant shall he corrupt by flatteries: but the people that do know their God shall be strong, and do exploits. 33And they that understand among the people shall instruct many: yet they shall fall by the sword, and by flame, by captivity, and by spoil, many days. 34Now when they shall fall, they shall be holpen with a little help: but many shall cleave to them with flatteries.35And some of them of understanding shall fall, to try them, and to purge, and to make them white, even to the time of the end: because it is yet for a time appointed.

We must pray that we all can learn from this lesson regarding Apostle Paul.  Apostle Paul was a man, like Apostle Judas who betrayed Christ and Apostle Peter – who denied Jesus three times.  It is apparent that Apostle Paul repented before he was executed; however today it is not about Apostle Paul because he fought a good fight and finished his course.  However, we are here today and many of us have answered our calls.  In 2 Timothy, chapter three, Apostle Paul warned us about what would happen during the last days.  Apostle John wrote in 2 John about 20 years later.  He also wrote how many would not adhere to sound doctrine.  At 2 John 7-8 he writes:

(7) For many deceivers are entered into the world, who confess not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh.  This is a deceiver and an antichrist.  (8) Look to yourselves, that we lose not those things which we have wrought, but that we receive a full reward.

God wants all of His saints to understand this truth.  God calls both men and women to various positions within the body of Christ.  God is not a respecter of persons.  God wants us to serve Him in Spirit and in Truth; God wants us to understand that there is no condemnation to those in Christ Jesus.  Jesus has given us the same glory that He had when he walked this earth so that the world would know that God is with us. We are Holy Temples of God; thus we have a habitation with God in the Spirit.  Moreover, we have the same Spirit within us that raised Jesus from the dead.  Jesus, the son of God to a Perfect Man said; that the works that He did we can do that work and greater works because He goes to the Father.  We must remember that God does not discriminate based on race, sex, or national origin.  And God has given His Saints power to use His name and that name is JESUS.  We have been bought with a price and we are not our own.  We must preach this truth.

We pray in the name of Jesus that this work will not be viewed as another article by someone who has an opinion and they think they are right.  My friend, we all have opinions; however, the Word of God is true and it will not change.  We also pray that Christians throughout the world will join us and repent and focus on the Way of the Lord in the name of JESUS.    Let us close by sharing again what God revealed to Prophet Isaiah about this very moment.

God revealed this day to Prophet Isaiah

God had Isaiah to write this for us today.  It is imperative for Christians who have love for Truth to receive this revelation.  Listen carefully to what God gave Isaiah to write at Isaiah 28:5-13.

(5) In that day shall the LORD of hosts be for a crown of glory, and for a diadem of beauty, unto the residue of his people,

6And for a spirit of judgment to him that sitteth in judgment, and for strength to them that turn the battle to the gate.

7But they also have erred through wine, and through strong drink are out of the way; the priest and the prophet have erred through strong drink, they are swallowed up of wine, they are out of the way through strong drink; they err in vision, they stumble in judgment.

8For all tables are full of vomit and filthiness, so that there is no place clean.

9Whom shall he teach knowledge? and whom shall he make to understand doctrine? them that are weaned from the milk, and drawn from the breasts.

10For precept must be upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there a little:

11For with stammering lips and another tongue will he speak to this people.

12To whom he said, This is the rest wherewith ye may cause the weary to rest; and this is the refreshing: yet they would not hear.

13But the word of the LORD was unto them precept upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there a little; that they might go, and fall backward, and be broken, and snared, and taken.  Let read Isaiah 28:12 again!

At Isaiah 28: 12 To whom he said, This is the rest wherewith ye may cause the weary to rest; and this is the refreshing: yet they would not hear.

Surely this is the Refreshing – Are you listening to GOD in the name of JESUS.  We have work to do.  Today, all tables are full of vomit and filthiness, so that there is no place clean.  This means every printed version of the Holy Bible is unclean.  The process that Jesus has given us in John 7:16-18 must be applied.  We pray in the name of JESUS that you have the love for TRUTH and realize God wants His saints to be everything that He has called them to be and worship Him in Spirit and in Truth.  Ask God in the name of JESUS – God will direct your path. 

This is a call to action.
