GOD is not the Author of Confusion - SBC Vote did not End the State of Confusion: What Has Satan Done

The Southern Baptist Convention votes fell short of expelling women pastors from the organization; praise GOD, however, this did not end the state of confusion. It is being reported that on the SBC's official documents, the role of pastors is limited to men. Moreover, over 60% voted to expel women pastors from the organization's constitution. Well, we know that GOD is not the author of confusion. This state of confusion is not just within the SBC, however, it is throughout the Body of Christ. So let's see what Satan has done since GOD is not the author of confusion.  So let's follow the Spirit of Truth and see what created the confusion. Well, let's start with reviewing 1 Corinthians 14:33-35!

In KJV 1 Corinthians 14:33-36,

Apostle Paul writes:

33For God is not the author of confusion, but of peace, as in all churches of the saints.

34Let your women keep silence in the churches: for it is not permitted unto them to speak; but they are commanded to be under obedience, as also saith the law.

35And if they will learn any thing, let them ask their husbands at home: for it is a shame for women to speak in the church.

36What? came the word of God out from you? or came it unto you only?

KJV 14:36 says: “What?” came the word of God out from you? Or came it unto you only?”

Apostle Paul was admonishing these brothers for have the disposition or frame of mind that women should be silent in the church. However, the NIV and some other Bibles have removed “What?” from 1 Corinthians 14:36. Consequently, the writers removed the “admonishment!” Therefore, the readers of these versions of the Bible think: Women should be silent in the church based on scripture. This happened on our watch!

Here is the chief problem! 2 Timothy 3:16 says: “All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:” Surely, this is a true statement. However, as you study the word of GOD, you will discover that GOD has given us a way to determine what is the doctrines of GOD or men. In John 7:16-18 and Galatians 1:8-9, the standards are outlined for use; however, scholars have overlooked or dismissed these standards, including those who compiled the KJV. Let’s review these standards.

In John 7:16-18, Jesus said: “My doctrine is not mine, but his that sent me. If any man will do his will, he shall know of the doctrine, whether it be of God, or whether I speak of myself. He that speaketh of himself seeketh his own glory: but he that seeketh the glory that sent him, the same is true, and no unrighteousness is in him.”

It is also important to note in John 16:13, Jesus said: “…the Spirit of truth…for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak:…” It is important to understand this standard. If any man speaketh of himself, he seeketh his own glory. We must understand that we all have our personal opinions; however, we do not establish doctrines for GOD.

In Galatians 1:8-9, Apostle Paul was moved by the Holy Spirit when he made this declaration. “But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that we have preached unto you, let him be accursed. (9) As we said before, so say I now again. If any man preach any other gospel unto you than that ye have received, let him be accursed.” This standard is time-sensitive; Apostle Paul wrote Galatians around A.D. 49. Apostle Paul gave this instruction to all saints. He was even including himself; we must understand that Apostle Paul was saying even if he shall preach anything that was not preached at that time he shall be accursed.

When you apply these standards, you will discover that some of the texts in 1 Timothy, 2 Timothy, and Titus do not meet these standards. Woe to the ones who do not think that they have time to read the article; and have already made up their minds. Do you really understand what happened to Apostle Paul when he hastened and was determined to go to Jerusalem for the day of Pentecost?

The NIV said: Paul was compelled by the Spirit of GOD to go. KJV says: Apostle Paul was bound in his "personal" spirit to go. Well, you know, that these disciples told him by the Spirit that he should not go. (Acts 21:4) And by the Holy Ghost, Prophet Agabus demonstrated that Paul would be bound and given over to the Gentiles in Jerusalem. (Acts 10-11) Do you realize that the writers of the NIV lied on GOD? Apostle Paul testified in Acts 22:17-18, that earlier in his ministry, when he was in a trance, he saw Jesus, and Jesus told him to make haste and get quickly out of Jerusalem because they would not receive his testimony concerning Him.

The KJV has it right; Apostle Paul was bound in his personal spirit. Here Apostle Paul was walking in his flesh! Apostle Paul did not adhere to the counsel of GOD; think about it! The Saints have missed some important lessons of what happens when you are determined and haste to do things; the person does not always acknowledge GOD in all his/her ways. Now, ask the Holy Spirit to guide us – Apostle Paul said: Cephas, John, and James seemed to be pillars! Does GOD want us to come together as one? When was the gospel put in Apostle Paul’s trust? How could this happen, if Apostle Paul at times does not adhere to the counsel of GOD and walks in his flesh? Whose trust is the gospel in today? JESUS said that the Spirit of Truth will not speak of His own; He will only speak what He hears. Listen carefully, GOD did not give any person the authority to set up policies or standards for Him based on what he or she thinks. We all have opinions; however, GOD has given us the Holy Spirit to guide and direct – again, The Holy Spirit speaks what He hears!

The bottom line, GOD did not compel Apostle Paul to go to Jerusalem for the day of Pentecost! In this instance, Apostle Paul did not adhere to the counsel of GOD, he did it his way. This is very serious! The NIV undermined the integrity of the written word of GOD, and Apostle Paul’s demeanor changed, and some of his teachings were not consistent with his earlier teaching and observances.

Now let’s take a close look at 1 Timothy 2:11-15. When you consider what Jesus said in John 7:16-18 and what Apostle Paul wrote in Galatians 1:8-9, any Christian with a love for truth will agree that what Apostle Paul wrote in 1 Timothy 2:11-15 does not meet these standards. When Apostle Paul said “I suffer not a woman to teach” he was not speaking for GOD, however, he was speaking of himself. And “women being saved in child-bearing” is not part of the Everlasting Gospel. This would be considered as a new doctrine. Based on what is written in Galatians 1:8-9, Apostle Paul would be accursed.   Consequently, some of the texts written in 1 Timothy, 2 Timothy, and Titus do not meet the standards that GOD has given us on how to determine if doctrine is of GOD or men. Click on this link to discover what Satan has done to restrict women's roles in the Church.

Moreover, you will also discover that some versions of the Bible have undermined the integrity of the written word of GOD. The SBC cast their vote; however, it did not end the confusion. Again, over 60% voted to expel women from the organization. We are prayerful, that the Saints of GOD realize that this is nothing that GOD wants us to vote on. GOD wants us to understand that He calls both males and females and He is not a respecter of persons. Now to address this problem it is complex because the standards that GOD has given on how to determine if doctrines are of GOD, or men were not considered when the writers of the KJV of the Bible were compiled. And the other reason is because we have allowed the word of GOD to be undermined on our watch. Now there are over fifty Bibles in English and they do not say the same thing.  Here is a link to an article that shows cause for the Church to take immediate action to bring the scriptures in alignment with the Way of the LORD in the name of JESUS. Again, SBC is not alone; the Body of Christ is in a state of confusion regarding women's role in the Church. This is Satan's objective to create the divide.
