In this particular passage of scripture, Jesus had taught the people and now he wanted to get to the other side of the lake. He was on board with his disciples and they believed they were going to get to the other side, they had no reason to doubt. They believed they would get there without any problems because Jesus was on board. Many people believe this. But look at what happened. As they were sailing across the lake Jesus went to sleep, and a storm arose. They obeyed the instructions of Jesus, their commander, their Lord, and those instructions put them smack dab in the middle of a storm. How could this happen?
