He is not Here For He is Risen
April 17, 2026
He is not here… for He is risen.
This message goes beyond tradition and brings us back to the true meaning of Resurrection Sunday. The resurrection of Jesus Christ is not just a story—it is the fulfillment of God’s plan of redemption.
In the Old Testament, Passover was a sign of deliverance. A lamb was sacrificed, and the blood caused judgment to pass over God’s people. But that was only the beginning.
Jesus is the Lamb of God.
He was crucified during Passover, shedding His blood for our sins. But the story didn’t end at the cross—on the third day, He rose from the grave, proving that He has power over sin, death, and the grave.
This is what we are called to remember.
Not traditions.
Not distractions.
But the Lamb who was slain—and now lives forever.
If we are not careful, we can celebrate the day and miss the Savior. This message is a call back to truth, holiness, and keeping Jesus at the center.
