This a spiritual warfare and Satan understands warfare. Satan knows that the Saints of GOD depend on what is written in the Bible to be the words of GOD and a house divided against itself will not stand. Therefore, one of Satan’s stratagems is to undermine the integrity of the written Word of GOD. Satan has been highly effective; this is the reason there are fifty major versions of the Bible in the English language. And these Bibles do not say the same thing! Moreover, we have 45,000 denominations worldwide, we cannot fellowship together, and we are not working to come together as one to bring the will of our Heavenly Father to fruition. We must admit that we have a problem. Therefore, it is imperative, that we work together to ensure the Bibles that we are using are truly the infallible written word of GOD in the name of JESUS!
Isaiah Chapter Six clearly shows that we all live among people with unclean lips, and we must be clean before we handle the word of GOD. However, there is evidence that on our watch, writers have undermined the integrity of the written word of GOD in the name of JESUS. We have also discovered that writers of the KJV did not consider the instructions that GOD gave us on how to determine if doctrines were of GOD or men. First, allow me to share several things the writers of NIV have done.
Surely GOD is not the author of confusion. However, there are lists of verses, that show how writers of the NIV and the writers of some other versions of the Bible have helped create the confusion by their interpretations instead of translating the text. Here is one example: Many read 1 Corinthians 14:33-35, regarding women must be silent in the Church. However, they do not include what is written in the KJV 1 Corinthians 14:36. Therefore, let’s take a closer look at KJV 1 Corinthians 14:33-36.
In KJV 1 Corinthians 14:36 it says: “What? Came the word of God out from you? Or came it unto you only?” The NIV and some of the other versions of the Bible removed “What?” from this verse. Apostle Paul was admonishing these brothers for having the disposition that women should be silent in the Church. However, the admonishment was removed by the writers of the NIV and some other versions of the Bible. Readers of these versions of the Bible are taught that women should be silent in the Church.
Sometimes, the writers of the NIV attempt to interpret the text instead of translating it. Here is another example: In Acts 20:22, the NIV says Apostle Paul was compelled by the Spirit to go to Jerusalem for the day of Pentecost. The KJV of the Bible has it right; Apostle Paul was bound in his personal spirit. Let’s review the scriptures!
In the KJV Acts 20:22, it says: “And now, behold, I go bound in the spirit unto Jerusalem, not knowing the things that shall befall me there:” The NIV changed this text. The NIV says: “And now, compelled by the Spirit, I am going to Jerusalem, not knowing what will happen to me there.” As you study and carefully align scriptures you will discover Apostle Paul was warned through the Spirit by disciples (Acts 21:4) that he should not go to Jerusalem and a prophet demonstrated how Apostle Paul would be bound and given over to the Gentiles in Jerusalem. (Acts 21:10-11). And Apostle Paul testified that earlier in his ministry, JESUS told him to haste out of Jerusalem because they would not receive his testimony there. (Acts 22:17-18) The bottom line: Apostle Paul was not compelled by the Spirit of GOD to go to Jerusalem, however, he hasted and was determined to go in his spirit. Here it is clear the writers of the NIV and some of the other versions of the Bible have undermined the integrity of the written word of GOD.
If the writers of the NIV had carefully read Acts 20, Acts 21, and Acts 22, with a love of truth, they would have discovered that JESUS never told Paul to return to Jerusalem. Some of the other versions of the Bible mirror what is written in the NIV because they assumed Apostle Paul was walking in the Spirit of GOD. This is not a simple infraction; however, this is profoundly serious because here the writers lied on GOD. GOD did not compel Apostle Paul to return to Jerusalem.
This is a major infraction because without this understanding the Saints of GOD will not be able to see Apostle Paul from a different vantage point after he failed to adhere to the counsel of GOD in the name of JESUS. Listen; this revelation renders the NIV and other versions like it as not the written word of GOD; moreover, these works have undermined the word of GOD in other areas.
The bottom line at this juncture of Apostle Paul’s ministry is he failed to adhere to the counsel of GOD and this failure had a direct impact on his teaching and actions. Without this understanding the Saints are not allowed to discover the problem of when you are determined and make haste to do something in your own spirit; you may not acknowledge GOD in all your ways like Apostle Paul did in this instant. Moreover, Apostle Paul said that the Gospel was put in his trust; how could the Gospel be put in his trust if he fails to allow the Holy Spirit to guide?
The Chief Concern
Here is the next area of concern which is the chief concern: The writers of all versions of the Bible, including the KJV have failed to consider the way GOD has given us to determine if doctrines are of GOD or men.
Praise GOD in the name of JESUS! JESUS gave us a way to determine if the doctrine is of man or GOD. John 7:16-18 records; (16) “Jesus answered them, and said, My doctrine is not mine, but his that sent me. (17) If any man will do his will, he shall know of the doctrine, whether it be of God, or whether I speak of myself. (18) He that speaketh of himself seeketh his own glory: but he that seeketh his glory that sent him, the same is true, and no unrighteousness is in him.”
It is particularly important to understand this standard that JESUS outlined to determine if doctrine is of man or GOD. However, the writers of the KJV and other versions of the Bible did not apply this important standard when compiling the text for publication. But they did include the standard in the text of the Bible in John 7:16-18. It is unfortunate that scholars and ministers of the Gospel have overlooked it, passed over it, tossed it aside, dismissed it, or unheeded it. Nevertheless, JESUS gave us a way to determine if doctrine was of GOD or men – today all Bibles that have been published include doctrines that do not meet this standard.
Moreover, in A.D. 49 in the writing of Apostle Paul in Galatians 1:8-9 "But though we, or an angel from heaven preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accused. (9) As said before, so say I now again, if any man preach any other gospel unto you than that ye have received, let him be accused." It is important to understand, that here Apostle Paul was speaking the inspired word of GOD.
Galatians was probably written in A.D. 49. Surely, in A.D. 63, when Apostle Paul wrote 1 Timothy, some of the texts were not the inspired word of GOD. Apostle Paul wrote in 2 Timothy 3:16, that all scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: that the man of God may be perfect thoroughly furnished unto all good works. Let’s take another look at 1 Timothy 2:11-15.
When you consider what Jesus said in John 7:16-18 and what Apostle Paul wrote in Galatians 1:8-9, any Christian with a love for truth will agree that what Apostle Paul wrote in 1 Timothy 2:11-15 does not meet these standards. When Apostle Paul said “I suffer not a woman to teach” he was not speaking for GOD, however, he was speaking of himself. And “women being saved in child-bearing” is not part of the Everlasting Gospel. Therefore, this would be considered as a new doctrine. Based on what is written in Galatians 1:8-9, Apostle Paul would be accursed. However, women had active roles in working the gospel of God in the name of JESUS. Luke writes in Acts 16:14-15, how GOD opened a woman named Lydia's heart to attend to the things Apostle Paul taught. Records show there was a church established in her home. GOD is not double-minded. In Titus 2:3, Apostle Paul writes the aged women to be teachers of good things. Titus 2:4 Says: these aged women may teach women to be sober, to love their husbands, to love their children. Surely, this teaching sounds great regarding aged women teaching women these things. Does teaching good things include the teaching of the everlasting gospel? What did GOD call Lydia to do? In A.D. 49, when Apostle Paul wrote Galatians 3:26-29, he said when you are baptized into Christ, you put on Christ. There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, and there is neither male nor female. What is the foundation for restricting women from teaching and preaching the everlasting gospel to males and females? Did Apostle Paul commend Junia, who was chief among the Apostles? (Romans 16:7) GOD wants us to get this right! We must follow the instructions that GOD has given us on how to determine if doctrine is of GOD or men.
John 16:13 says: Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he shall shew you things to come.” Here it is important to note that the Spirit of truth will not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak.
When we consider what JESUS said in John 7:16-18 and what Apostle Paul wrote in Galatians 1:8-9, it becomes clear that some of the texts that Apostle Paul wrote in 1 Timothy, 2 Timothy, Titus and 1 Corinthians Chapter 7 do not meet these standards.
Firstly, JESUS said to call no man on earth father. It is also important to remember what JESUS said regarding who His mother, sisters, and brothers were. Based on the scripture, there is no foundation for Paul calling Timothy, his son in the faith. Some Christian leaders may make light of this; however, JESUS knows the consequences of calling men spiritual fathers. JESUS said that the doctrine was not his; however, it was the Father who sent him. JESUS also said that He would send the Holy Spirit in His name and the Holy Spirit would not speak of Himself, he would only speak what He hears. JESUS explains if anyone speaks of themselves, they seek their own glory. 1 Timothy is loaded with actions that show Apostle Paul imposing his will. Apostle Paul also says: “I suffer not a woman to teach.” There is no record that GOD said “He suffers not a woman to teach.” This teaching is contrary to what Apostle Paul preached and observed.
Moreover, as you carefully read 2 Timothy, you will discover a change in Apostle Paul’s demeanor; he also complains about how badly others had treated him and forsaken him. Moreover, he establishes standards that restrict women’s roles in the ministry that are contrary to his earlier teachings and what he had observed. Apostle Paul wrote Romans around A.D. 56 or A.D. 57; In chapter 16, Apostle Paul commended women for their roles in working the gospel. When Apostle Paul wrote Philippians around A.D. 61 or A.D. 62, in Chapter 4:3, he encouraged the men to help the women who labored in the gospel. Apostle Paul did not write 1 Timothy until around A.D. 63. In 1 Timothy 2:15, Apostle Paul introduced a new doctrine that women would be saved in childbearing. There is no record of the woman being saved in childbearing as part of the everlasting gospel. According to Galatians 1:8-9, Apostle Paul would be accursed for this writing. However, many Saints have overlooked these observations because they could not envision Apostle Paul walking in his flesh after GOD had used him so mightily in the past.
Listen carefully, no version of the Bible considered the instructions that GOD has given us in John 7:16-18 and Galatians 1:8-9. Without the consideration of these instructions, the written word of GOD has been undermined and the Saints of GOD will not be taught the same thing and come to the unity of the faith. Some Christians will never know who JESUS is and the personal relationship that GOD wants to have with each Christian. Moreover, without this understanding, the Saints will be continuously tossed to and fro by every wind of doctrine. GOD wants us to correct this problem and come to the unity of the faith and become one. But many Christian leaders are too busy working their own personal or organization's agendas.
